Full Foods Apple pie is an All-American food which sates the American craving for apples and pies in just one kind offood. It is popular among Americans perhaps due to the nutritional values apples contain. Most Americans love their kinds of foods but they often have low nutritional values so that recipes such as apple pies which have high dietary fibers and nutrients become popular.2. Apple pies are composed of the pastry used as crusts which holds the other part which is the filling. Pastry is made from flour, butter, salt and water to make the mixture moist enough to be formed into the mold.
The filling is made of apples which could be of one kind or more, sugar, flour, butter, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, lemon juice, egg yolk and milk.3. Apple pie may have flour like some of our Chinese foods but it is sweet and baked, not like our regular dish which comprises of noodles cooked in pots or pans. 4. Noodles are often cooked with water and mixed with a variety of meat, seafood or vegetables and they are seasoned with salt and some spices. Our food is often served in bowls and we use chopsticks not like the American who eat with spoon and fork.5. Chou Dofu is a Chinese food that is known for its bad odor.
It is made up of tofu mixed in brine of shrimp, vegetables and salt that has been fermented for months. The brine gives the awful odor and taste but to the Chinese, it is a delicious victual. The odor may drive people away from eating the tofu but those who have the courage to try it often find the taste good.
