China consistently upholds the banner of peace, development and cooperation as a state, it has pursued an independent foreign policy to peace and unity and persists with the development of friendly relations with other states based on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, that is mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, mutual non-aggression, non-interference in each other’s internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit and peaceful coexistence. In promoting this, china has upheld its culture and believes, it has tried to grow in reference to its history and this has impacted positively towards its international and domestic affairs and finally maintaining respecting its legacy of irredentism.
Being the world’s oldest culture, Chinese culture has perceived a dominant coverage in a large geographical region in eastern Asia with customs and traditions varying greatly between provinces, cities, and even towns. Literature, music, visual arts, martial arts, cuisine, and religion makes the important components of the culture. The Culture covers large geographical territories in china; usually, each region is divided into distinct sub-cultures and represented by three ancestral items. A good example is Guangdong represented by cheap, aged ginger, and hay. These distinctions give rise to the old Chinese proverb: “Shí lǐ bùtóng fēng, bǎi lǐ bùtóng sú” literally "the wind varies within ten li, customs vary within a hundred li." In relation to martial art, Chinese martial arts are collectively given the name kung fu, Kung to mean "achievement" or "merit", and (fu) "man", thus "human achievement"). The first generation of art started more for the purpose of survival and warfare than art. Over time, some art forms have branched off, while others have retained a distinct Chinese flavor. Chinese civilization originated in various regional centers along both the Yellow River and the Yangtze River valleys in the Neolithic era, but the Yellow River is said to be the cradle of Chinese civilization. With thousands of years of continuous history, China is one of the world's oldest civilizations. For instance, the yellow played a number of roles: to start with, according to the Chinese culture, Family is seen to be very important. The authority of the family belongs to the father. The father always arranges the marriages for his daughters, controls the amount of education received by the children and chooses the career for his sons. The mother occupies a subordinate position in the family and they are unable to own their own property. A typical Chinese family contains a mother, father the sons and unmarried daughters who live in the home together. All the rituals are performed by the males. Secondly, The yellow river stretches across China for over 2,900 miles. The river carries its rich yellow silt all the way from Mongolia to the Pacific Ocean and so same to the Yangtze River, stretching about 3,400 miles across central china. To add to this, The Silk Road was a major part of the agricultural purpose in china that helped it grow. People would travel all over the Silk Road for trading purposes which brought cultural immersion, and agriculture was an immediate profit due to the fertile soil. By the mid-19th century, Chinese stability had come under increasing threat from both domestic and international sources. Social unrest and serious revolts became more common while the regular army had decayed into an ineffective force.
It is considered a lofty duty of the entire Chinese people, including their compatriots in Taiwan, to accomplish the great task of reunifying the motherland. The PRC claim to sovereignty over Taiwan is generally based on the successor states theory; with the PRC claiming that it is the successor state to the Republic of China. The Taiwanese government is the Government of the Republic of China which used to administer both China ('Mainland China') and Taiwan; the government has been administering Taiwan only since its defeat in the Chinese Civil War by the armed forces of the communist party of China.
