As Shelley imparts to us in this novel, 'Learn from me, if not by my precepts, at least by my example, how dangerous is the acquirement of knowledge and how much happier that man is who believes his native town to be the world, than he who aspires to become greater than his nature would allow.... This essay "Mary Shelley's frankenstein" presents author's main point as that man, no matter how he toils, can never achieve desired perfection.... This is evident with frankenstein's reaction towards his creation, which turned out to be an abominable creature....
