Understanding How God Calls al Affiliation) Understanding How God Calls God created humanity to be His helpers hereon earth. As such, He is always in communication with His people. In the modern world, people have been caught up with the need to satisfy economic demands ignoring their religious purpose in the world. However, God’s call to humanity is relentless. God is powerful and will always ensure that His people understand how he calls. In addition, God calls people in different ways depending on their personalities.

It is imperative to understand how God calls to acknowledge His undying love for humanity. Prayer and Worship God uses the power of prayer to call unto His people. It is through prayer and worship that humanity abandons the daily economic activities and dedicate itself to God. At this moment, the Lord is always pleased with humanity and releases His goodness and mercies in a way that surpasses human understanding. In Matthew 18:20, the Lord says that He is always in the midst of two or three people that gather in His name.

As such, such a platform enables God to call His people1. The Scripture It is a common belief that the scripture is a manual to humanity. As such, God uses His word to communicate with humans. Upon reading the scripture, individuals gain insight of their purpose in the world. The Word gives meaning to life and an understanding of how God wants humanity to live. In Proverbs 6:22, humanity is assured that the Word of God shall talk to them when they awaken2. As such, God uses the scripture to call on His people.

Spiritual People God uses spiritual people to call. In the past, the prophets were believed to be used by God to communicate with people. They were regarded highly and people respected them. In the modern world, people seek inspiration from spiritual people. In addition, the spiritual people offer counsel on how to live life according to God’s will. In 1 Corinthians 2:13, Paul assures humanity that they speak word taught to them by the Spirit to explain spiritual realities3. It is important to acknowledge God’s call through spiritual people as a means of communication to humanity.

Creating Needs for Humanity In Ecclesiastes 3:1-15, Solomon writes about how everything in the world has its time4. This can be interpreted as a means used by God to call on his people. Different events are attributable to God’s manner to communicate. As such, He creates different needs as a means to call. For instance, in times of laughter, God calls on His people to give thanks. However, in times of crying, He calls on His people to seek help from Him. Everyday humanity undergoes different needs that call for God’s intervention.

As such, God creates such needs as a means to call on His people. It is through such needs that God asks people to ask, seek, and knock and He shall reveal His goodness and mercies (Matthew 7:7)5. Conclusion God uses many means to call on His people. There are no defined means because God is powerful and knows how every means is suitable for every individual. However, God is pleased when He calls and people reciprocate by doing what He commands. It is upon individuals to be firm in the Lord to understand and acknowledge His means of communicating with them.
