How CURA PERSONALIS Relates to My Future Practice of PharmacyLife is always about making decisions and choosing the path to follow for the better good of one’s self and others too. To experience freedom in decision-making, one needs to posture and practice reflection for better understanding of human nature, essence, and purpose on earth.I believe in the power of God that controls the world based on my spirituality and life encounters. Through reflection upon various incidences in my life and that of others, I have experienced God's presence.

For instance, I once got out from a fatal accident alive, and that encounter made me realize that God still had more plans for me. That experience will always give me the motivation to care for my patient deeply as brothers and sisters in Christ. Being God's children created in His image and likeness, we have the potential to tap that power and implement it for the good of ourselves and others. I will, therefore, always strive to commit myself to do and give the best I can for the greater good of every person at my service.

For effective treatment recovery of all patients, personal care is essential (Duminuco & Conference, 2000). Ignatius values have taught me to care and show concern for the whole person without discrimination. I will, therefore, respect human dignity always and treat everyone equally without considering religious affiliation believing that we are all children of God. The Cura Personalis will also help me to treat my patients’ body, mind, and spirit, thus, treating the whole person because these three are connected.

When dealing with patients, I will not always view it like dealing with a condition or disease but rather be compassionate about their situation and lives. As a result, I will always make right decisions and prescribe the best treatment. My empathetic nature will compliment this value to help me connect with the patients and show them that we care for their best.At critical moments, faith and believe in God will always keep me moving forward to offer the best services even when people have given hope.

Believing that God calls and we are only there to respond requires faith and trust in Him, the institution has inculcated this value into my life by bringing God closer to our classroom every time. Prayers before everything will, therefore, keep me strong in faith, thus, tackling whatever situation that prevails with confidence and trust in God. Connecting my professional education intelligence with spirituality will always help me to give more personal care and act with consciousness to any patients, thus, making me one of the best health care service providers.

Even after the disease is cured and to the body is well and functioning normally, patients still need more spiritual and psychological healing process.
