Those who gain due to exposure to negative stimuli may only be contained and fail to express their real beings. When they leave the rigid school setting to the rather free atmosphere that behavior which was contained in may rapture.

Those whose performances are induced by fear of the negative responses are likely to perform dismally at higher levels of learning.Use of stimuli in the labor marketThe introduction of more incentives may be expected to enhance positive reinforcement. This works only in the short run when employee morale may be boosted. At times, it may not work to increase worker productivity at all. Employers can increase pay for, example, but the employees are not willing to work any extra hours to earn more income (Fisher, 2008).

In this case the increment becomes counterproductive. Some workers may work for the increased pay to boost their savings, only to exit once their targets have been met. There is also a category of employees that despite improved pay cannot compromise their leisure activities. The incentives are also anticipated to attract more employees. This may fail because people might be feeling more secure at their present engagements. Workers may also be threatened with a sack in event that they do not meet certain standards like coming late to duty.

Some of the workers may not get threatened with this and continue coming late and eventually be compelled to resign.ConclusionHuman mind is such an unpredictable item to comprehend. It’s quite uncertain the direction which the mind can take. The kinds of stimuli used to study the mind do not have to produce a response in the same direction.
