First and foremost, it is the article written by Thomas Scheff called shame and conformity. Evidently, the author of this particular piece of art strives to give a comprehensive explanation to the relation between normal conformity in relation to the social control.

Apparently, Thomas in this article attributes some emotional challenges to the fact that an individual is ashamed. Consequently, this has problems have manifested themselves in terms of some behavioural attributes of an individual. In addition to that, the article also documents some methods in which one can be able to tackle emotional hardships without necessarily changing the behaviour of an individual. In summation, the author postulates that the only way in which one can overcome this challenges is by boosting ones self- esteem.

Secondly, the book social animal is also an interesting literature to read. On the same note, this article is written by Elliot Aronson. Moreover, Elliot in this book focusses on the fact that human being s are social creatures. Furthermore, the author champions the fact that human beings cannot survive in solitude since the enjoy company. Apparently, he advocates for company since the more the people the easier it is to solve problems. In fact, through a decisive study of human behaviour, he was able to support this argument conclusively.

To this end, this article majorly, advocates the theme of crowd as opposed to solitude. On the contrary, another area of interest in the area of human psychology is covered comprehensively in the article human nature and conduct. Evidently, the author of this article advocates the fact that people should not be set aside for reasons pertaining to the conformity. In fact, he argues that it is in human nature to banish individuals who share contradicting views to those that we have. On that note, he suggests that humans must be willing to embrace change in order to better their lives.

Moreover, he also clearly champions the ideology that self-esteem plays a huge role in the life of an individual and thus should be upheld. To this end, the article clearly documents that humans should be ready to leave out some bad attributes that interfere with their self-esteem for instance the company of friends. Lastly, the article of group mentality in relation to human physiology is also essential in the study of psychology. Apparently, the author in this article has vehemently champions the theme of group mentality.

Evidently, he decisively delves into the advantages and disadvantages of group mentality. On the same note, he clearly argues that group mentality is useful if applied in the right manner. To this end, the article clearly advocates for group mentality as opposed to solitary living of an individual.
