Studying Psychology and Alcohol Addictions - Essay Example

Every Family has its strengths and weaknesses and as for mine, the greatest issue is alcohol and drug addiction. It started with me some years ago when alcohol and drugs were my daily food but thanks to self-control, counseling, and education I was able to rescue myself and start a new life without alcohol dictating my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I have to deal with three of our children who are addicts hence my passion for Psychology to rescue my beloved children. I would love for them to live to their maximum potential without drugs and alcohol influences.

Am passionate about helping different individuals in society and especially young people because they hold the future in their hands and are also the future of tomorrow hence I always encourage them to be better than their environment and they will surely make it because it is not always that your environment will determine your future. As for fun, I read novels and watch documentaries and family movies. I also love taking pictures, so you will find me taking pictures if am not at home. My kind of pictures, revolves around children who mainly cannot afford to pay for senior pictures. Every day is a reminder of the past alcohol and drug effects, therefore, I strive to help young people who have grown up in such environments to better their daily living.
