PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN Personal Plan What will be the benefits to me of reaching this goal? I will achieve a number of benefits from reaching thisgoal. Firstly, I would be learning about a number of sociological aspects of system development. These will include people management issues as well as the management and aversion of risk in project development. A second major advantage of reaching my goal would be that I would learn about project scheduling. This would be beneficial in daily planning of tasks and deliverables.
What barriers and difficulties might I face?
I may face issues of project being delayed due to technical issues. Other problems of customers complaints and changing system requirements could be faced. I could also face issues of changes in technology, making my approach redundant
Who can I approach to help me reach my goal?
The best way to approach this task is to undertake proper planning and control of the task. A project plan, with clear dilevrables and a project risk assessment would help me in reaching my goals.
What resources will I need?
I would need technical resources, as well as other resources such as project management software (MS Project). I would also need project scheduling and communications software too.
