I am interested in a career within the industry assisting the development of ITP business solutions for product development and innovation in food manufacturing and have had experience in hotel management during my undergraduate years at Deakin University and I have a strong food management background, which qualifies me for this job. I spent more than 10 years as a food inspector and manager in one of the most famous food companies named Nestle. I am highly skilled in food preparations and solving day-to-day problems that consumer faces, for example, issues related to hygiene, and cleanliness of knives and cutting board etc. Moreover, iam particularly efficient in using new techniques in preparing food, which minimizes becteria largely. As a food inspector, I always guide my employees to provide the freshest food ingredients, keeping in mind the needs of the client and providing healthy meals at a low budget to maintain a positive company image. I believe that to pursue a career in food management one should possess good traits of professionalism and set excellent examples for the individuals working with them. There are many important attributes that a food manager must possess, for example, originality, creative imagination, communication skills and professionalism. I believe that a food manager’s duty is very demanding but rewarding at the end. Hence, one should work whole-heartedly and one must be always ready to meet any challenges. A food manager will find any task easily if they possess the above-mentioned attributes. Iam well aware of other food safety concerns like food labeling through which a consumer can restrict his intake of unhealthy ingredients like, fat and sugar. When preparing a meal I always keep in mind the permitted food additives that include, antioxidants, coloring, sweeteners essential for any meal. Food allergens are another important issue that I keep in mind while preparing a meal, many people are allergic to certain types of food, which cause allergies, which affects the immune system. Hence, the only method to avoid food allergens is to prepare meals that contain no allergy ingredients. As a trainer, I guide my employess to adopt food safety procedures like avoiding food contamination by storing the food in cold temperatures. I think that food contamination is a serious threat to any food company as it contains food borne illnesses. Moreover, as a food manager I will never stop practicing and striving to achieve better results. Many well reputed industries today are using novel technologies to ensure food safety and sustainability. Nestle, for example is a big name in food industry, which promotes healthy food practices and are striving hard to produce environment friendly food products. Nestle yoghurt is one of Nestles healthy food product which has become very popular food product today. My experience at the Company Nestle as a team trainer for the past six years, as well as other companies, has provided me with excellent skills and confidence in sales and service ability to ensure customer satisfaction. Working during high-volume periods required professionalism, strong organizational skills and excellent teamwork and co-operation. I have also worked as an Administrative assistant for Nestle gaining skills in effective communication and teamwork. My biggest quality is that I can work independently as well as with a whole team. In addition, I can easily guide and train chefs and bring out the best in them. Hence, my biggest achievement is that my customers are always satisfied.
