A: Opponent's Profile

I am a chosen nominee who won the open primary elections in my party. My opponent is Steve Allison who is representing House District 121. He succeeded the speaker of the House Joe Straus. He serves in various committees including that of public health and public education. Allison has brought a great change, helping the community in many ways, and great leadership skills to his role as a representative. Steve also has a good history of taking part and in the success of various organizations, business activities, in the health system, and also in community service.

He has been very active and took part in his children's education, including as a member of Alamo Height's early childhood, vice-chairperson of the legislative committee, and a member of the board in a support group in the district. He has also been involved with financing schools and also chaired a task force in the community that resulted in the creation of the Robin Academy. During his time of service on the Trustees, Board Allison was appointed in the association in Texas in the special committee of the schools where he served for three years as a member of the trustee's board in the association.

In professional terms, Allison is a great lawyer, who concentrates mostly on business, health issues, litigation processes, and also, he is a highly regarded mediator. He is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center and Texas Christian University. (Jorgensen 216). Allison is married to Peggy for 49 years and they have two sons and five grandchildren.

B: Special Interest Group

I will seek support from the Blackstone Group in New York to support me in my political campaign. This is because this group is interested in supporting serious politicians who have visions to change the society to be a better place to live and also who creates a good political, social, and economic environment to help the district to be more developed and competitive, not only in the United States but also in the entire world.

This interested group will be of great importance to me as they will be able to support me in many ways during my campaigns. Firstly, they'll help me financially as I continue with my campaigns. This financial support will be of great help to me as I will be able to navigate all the areas in my district as I sell out my manifesto and my goodwill of developments to the people. It will help me to reach even to the most remote place in Texas. The finances will also be used to print posters and distribute them all over the district to sell my candidature and to make me popular all over the district (Dana C 285). We will also use the finances to do roadshows and advertise my candidature through televisions and all media stations in Texas to make my candidature as popular as possible and to be able to sell my political ideas more effectively and easily to the people of my district.

Secondly, the group will also support me by giving me moral support throughout the campaign process and political advice on how to run my campaigns effectively to win the elections. They will help me in choosing the best campaigners, who will be on the frontline of my campaign team, the best colors to use during my campaign, and also in the development of the ideas to be sold to the people. Moreover, the group will also help me in the registration process and procedures as a candidate to run in the house. All the requirements will be made by the group and alert me in case of anything missing or what needs to be added to complete the process of registration smoothly and effectively without any problems and struggles.

C

I believe the current constitutional system in Texas works so well to serve the people. This is because this plural executive structure of governing prevents the governor from practicing nepotism by appointing a friend or a relative into political and highly influential positions that exist in the government just like it was done in the older days in Texas by the elected governors. Again, this executive system of governance should be maintained as it enhances and improves the quality of the policies, decisions, and the directions given by the government and its officials (Dana C 285). This is because, in an instance that the governor omits or forgets to include a piece of very important information or idea that will help the people, the other officials in the executive will help him to add the policies for the betterment of service delivery to the people.

In addition to this, the plural executive system of governance is suitable in Texas and should be maintained as much as possible is because there are good cooperation and increased confidence between the house which is the legislature, and the executive arm of the government. This is very important and beneficial to the public. After all, there will be a smooth and efficient service delivery to the people of Texas because there is harmony between the executive and the lawmaking branch.

The judiciary system should be maintained also because the structure itself is the best for Texas. This is because it is independent of other bodies and ensures that justice is provided to everyone in Texas without discrimination. The rights of the people of Texas are being safeguarded well, protects the public from the excesses from the executive and the legislative arms, protects the rule of law, and the constitution of Texas from being violated. Moreover, it is also very important because of the advisory role it offers to the government of Texas. So the structure of the Texas government should not be changed.

If I am elected as a representative, I will ensure that the constitution is maintained the way it is as it suits the people of Texas. I will fight against any constitutional review that will lead to the change of the structure of the executive and the judiciary. I will vote against any motion that will not bring any good to the people of Texas and that will deprive the people of seeking justice.

D: Economic law

If I am elected as a representative in the house, I will ensure that trade laws are revised. As you have seen we have been facing a lot of challenges in the transportation and exportation of our goods and services in our district. I will ensure that the law of reducing taxes to the producers is reduced. I will also ensure that the law that will ensure all the places in the district is accessible by road if not by air. Roads should be built in all areas to facilitate the producers to transport their products to the market in time to avoid the goods from being perishable thus bringing a lot of loss to the people and the entrepreneurs.

By the revision of trade laws in our district, it will help in promoting free trade and healthy and fair competition in the state among the traders. This will in turn bring equity in the state and raise our economy in a very big way. My position is that I am campaigning to be elected as a representative of District 121 in the house to serve the people diligently, transparently and with full of integrity without discrimination of anyone, in terms of race or gender.

I chose to stand as a candidate in this position because I am concerned about the way the people are not being represented well by the current representative. There is a lot of discrimination going on in the way justice is being exercised in our courts of law, the health care in Texas is not fully stocked with medical equipment and drugs thus putting our people in a compromised situation, and also the taxes on traders have been raised too high to a point where the common citizen suffers. The rent has also been raised high (Powe 2018). By electing me as a representative in the house, I will champion on the above issues and many others, to be looked into so that the people of Texas can have a better life.

G

I will use 'unity is power' as my campaign slogan and also come up with a song with the same message as the slogan. This is simply because the campaign slogan and the campaign song will help greatly during my campaign period. The slogan and the song will make my audience to easily recall my candidature and my political ideas I have for them whenever they get to hear about the song or the slogan itself. This will in turn help them to develop a positive attitude towards me and eventually vote for me in the coming elections (Sussman 349). I have also chosen this slogan because it is distinctive from others and it will make me different from the rest.

Social media will be used extensively during my campaigns. This is because news spread through social media sites leads to very great political persuasion and in the selling of political ideas to everyone. I will post all my political ideas in all media sites including Facebook, twitter, google, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube channel, televisions, and any social platform I will find it necessary to help me during the campaigns. I will also find bloggers who will help me in campaigning via social media sites. They will be posting all of my developmental agendas in all the social media sites and help in the convincing of the people to vote for me as a representative in the house (Jorgensen 216). This will greatly boost my chances of winning and make my candidature more popular than the other candidate of the opposition.
