Here the main aim will be to consider the performance evaluations in the start following which the actual performance of the individual will also be considered to ensure the choice is accurate and apt. The main impact this choice will have on the culture of the company is that employees will understand that the company takes only ethical decisions of letting go people who have either not performed or have not been able to meet up to the objectives (Black).

This also brings out the fact that the company does no t treat people in any lesser manner only because they are new to the company. Although loyalty is necessary and expected, underperformance is never an option. In terms of the dress code, the option will be to develop a cleat cut and well detailed dress code with all details included. Here the main reason this will be chosen is to ensure there are no unclear rules. Although people working within the environment are professionals, there is a need to identify what is acceptable in the work place.

Hence it is always better to set down rules as this will clear all ambiguities and will provide a clear set of expectations from the employees. In terms of monitoring of the employees, the choice here will be to install a program monitoring their Web usage. However this will only be checked in the case of any discrepancies regarding the employees and in the case where any issues are brought out regarding the employees. Allowing free internet access to employees is useful and possible in the case of a few companies which have the related work profiles (Black).

However providing internet to all employee at all times can prove to eat into the working hours and the overall performance. Hence this will help build a more focused and accurate work culture and will also ensure that employees do not take advantage of the various facilities provided by the company. Here this encourages a culture of truthfulness and support. In the case of performance appraisals, the evaluation of people will be based on the both elements. Here if the employees are a part of a sales team then the main focus will be on the numbers and sales.

However the aspect of the individual behaviour will always be considered in the evaluations to ensure that the employees are treated in an accurate manner without any bias as well as with complete fairness. This simply brings out the company’s ethical behaviour and focus on the human resources. Finally in terms of promotions, individuals will be promoted based on their performance and the achieved objectives. The company will have a clear set of objectives and job description to ensure every employee knows what is expected.

This will help develop a clear and precise work environment with no ambiguities. On the whole each of these decisions will bring out the ethical and fair nature of the business and will also help ensure that employees realise that they are as important as the customers to the company.
