I tried to eat healthy for two weeks Outline - Unhealthy foods are a cause of many diseases - Consuming fast and junk food is considered as an unhealthy practice by me - I decided to cut down on my diet of fast food and so I took steps - I cut down the consumption of soda and used tea and water instead - I stopped eating fast food and cooked at home - I preferred salads as it has essential vegetables - Fruits proved to be an alternate for desserts - With my current diet schedule I believe that I would be able to improve my fitness - In the future I can further improve my diet with the necessary changes.
I tried to eat healthy for two weeks With the growing pace of the world it is seen that different kinds of ingredients are used to manufacture food which can either be healthy or unhealthy. It is cited in many researches that cold drinks are somewhat harmful to the body if taken in excess. Similarly fast food is also composed of such ingredients which can be harmful to the body. In order to lead a healthy life one has to balance his nutritional intake so that he does not consume unhealthy foods.
These are the main reasons because of which I tried to eat healthy food for two weeks by cutting down on my diet. In my practice of consuming healthy foods I sought to cut out on the things which I considered unhealthy for my body. To start with I cut out on my daily soda consumption in order to avoid any sort of carbonated drink. I consumed water and tea as an alternative to soda as both of them are comparably healthier in my view than soda. Healthy food was my aim so I had to cut out on my consumption of fast food.
I could not achieve this aim if I did not cook at my home so I preferred cooking at home instead of going out which proved to be a successful plan in cutting down my diet of fast food. I preferred salad over other things as it has essential vegetables which are healthy for my body. In my normal routine I consumed a lot of chips and candy bars but I cut down my diet of consuming them too by consuming mixed nuts and fruits as an alternative. Dessert is also a way through which people gain many calories and I cut down my consumption of desserts and rather used fruits as an alternative.
All these steps helped me to craft a successful plan on cutting out on unhealthy foods which have a lot of calories in them. On my current diet I believe that I would be able to lose and not get obese which is a cause of several diseases these days. In my view cutting down on my diet was not much of a problem as I did not make drastic changes to my calorie intake. I used alternatives for junk and fast food so that I could get used to them. I believe that the steps taken by me would help me to further improve my diet schedule in the future.
