Full Things About Me That Might Surprise People Going out with my friends is indeed a pleasure for me so that I try my best to join them in every activity they invite me in. I love shopping with my friends, going to the mall, checking the latest fashion there is in store for us. I also love to watch movies with them which we practically do almost every time we meet. This gives us much time to know each other more as we talk about our favorite movies, actors and other things we enjoy. Spending much time with my friends allowed me to discover that we have so much in common, our likes and dislikes as well as people we would like to meet.

People usually see me as outgoing and indefatigable because of this so, I guess they would be surprised to know that I am the extreme opposite of what they see in me. I usually easily get tired so that I sleep a lot to get my energy back. Whenever I get the chance to take a little rest, even a ten minute nap would be much appreciated and often times welcomed. I believe that people are a treasure that I need to keep so I consider myself sentimental in many ways. I value time spent with friends, I keep their gifts in a rather special place which I call my treasure box.

In a world where friends come and go, life is fast-paced and yesterday usually seems to be a thing to be forgotten once you are in a day called today, I guess people will be surprised to find a person like me, still exists. I am basically a simple person whose sentiments are more on things that are considered back numbered. I understand that we are in the computer age but I guess there is a chip installed in me when I was born that no one can just get rid of my inclinations to deep feelings. I am a romantic who still believes not only in love at first sight but in a lasting romance as well.

Call me ridiculous but yes, I do believe in ‘happily ever after’ real stories. Surely these things are considered a thing of the past in this world where one can get married in a few days after knowing a person then, get divorced in a few months. I am always amazed about such realities, that people seem to have a switch built in them that they could turn on to love when given the chance then turn off when needed. I believe emotions are dictated by our decisions but watching divorced people go on with their life like nothing happened just astonishes me.

Putting myself in the shoes of such person, I can not imagine how I would be able to survive, given the fact that I easily get tired. Emotions drain more of our energy than physical activity so thinking in retrospect, such a situation would be the top of my list of things to avoid. This would be another thing people would be surprised to know about me. That I do keep a journal not just of things I need to do but of things that I need to watch out for in a person. I keep a list of certain standards for my suitors and friends.

I guess I am pretty much afraid of messing up relationships that is why am very cautious with my choices. As they say, prevention is better than cure and I would not like to be crying over spilled me but when there would be mistakes I make, at least I have the consolation of knowing that I did my best.
