Journal of Workplace Learning, 23, 4, 258-275.Timmermans et al. condcuted a research named “Team learning and team composition in nursing” which was published in the Journal of Workplace Learning and was published during the session of 2011 (Timmermans, 2011, p.258). This is a journal article which provides information regarding the importance of training for teams in the field of nursing and how this information impacts these teams.

The purpose of this research was to figure various learning programs that are implemented for teams of the nursing industry and how the composition of a particular nursing team effects the leanring of teams (Blakeney, 2009, p.14). This study focused on how team leanring in the context of nursing is impacted if two different methods of leanring were implemented. For this survey a total of 1111 nurses became the part of the population for the research. Through their literature review they exhibit that limited research has taken place on creativity and learning for nurisng teams.

The reserachers figured out that various sorts of team leanring activities are taken up by nurisng teams in order to obtain and analyse differnet sorts of information in the context of nursing. There was little impact of the composition of a nursing team on their leanring activities (Holleman, 2009, p.1256). But major impact on team learning activities was made by various contextual factors. Activities of team learning that focused on how nursing care hsould be conducted positively impacted the implemnetation phase of innovative training methods.
