I graduated summa cum laude at the top of my class of 120 students, winning an award for high academic achievement. Since then I have been working in my most recent job, as an RN at Henry Ford Hospital (HFH) in their Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). Apart from possessing an ability to focus on detail (I tend to be a perfectionist in this regard), I have also developed the necessary skill to titrate vasoactive drips to overcome hemodynamic instability, an ability, which would stand me in good stead as a competent anesthetist.
I had always wanted to pursue a master's degree in nursing. Having been exposed to the CRNA profession (I have interacted with CRNA's as well as closely observed and worked with the Director of the Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists, District 1, Glenn O'Connor, CRNA, MS) I have developed a passion for this profession.  ...Download file to see next pagesRead More
