ID Lecturer Recruitment Advertisement As a first step, I would go for a corrigendum because this is much needed. The company’s reputation is at stake and no one would dare to touch such levels. When the ad is misrepresenting the job and the salary, it is a good enough measure to discuss the highs and lows of the job once again. It shall cater to the prospective applicants’ needs and expectations once and for all. This corrigendum would explicitly state the requirements that the organization has of the prospective applicants and mention where it went wrong whilst putting up the earlier advertisement. The job focus and the salary would be sketched in such a way that the individuals applying for it have a good enough idea as to how they shall be recruited, what kind of work they would be made to do and what the exact role of the said job is in essence (Arthur, 2001). The recruitment ad should correctly portray for whom it is being put up so that there is no wastage at all. The incumbents must know that they shall have to make an effort to apply at the organization and thus secure the job for their own selves. This is the correct way to go about doing things and this can only be ensured when there is a proper procedure followed by the organization in placing the recruitment ad in the first place. I will therefore enact ways and means to speak to the Director of Human Resources to place this corrigendum ad at the earliest so that the people are not deceived.
