First, I was active in my school soccer team up to the 11th grade. I was a defender in the first team of the school and took part in several inter – school competitions. Secondly, I have been a very good swimmer and in the 8th grade I won 2 gold and 1 silver medals. Thirdly, my competitive spirit made me participate in school sports, and I was active in this area from the 8th to the 12th grade. To my credit, I made my mark in the 100m sprint and the 4x100m relay races. In addition, to sports, I have entertained considerable concern for the environment.

Thus, I was active in planting saplings, as an outdoor school activity during my 11th grade. My father has always been an inspiration to me, whether it be education, career prospects or life in general. I developed considerable interest in accounting, business, economics and English; in which I have acquired reasonable proficiency. My high school years were spent in my native country Indonesia. To my great fortune, I have been blessed with a close association with my father. This relationship has provided me with considerable business knowledge, as my father has taken the utmost pains to instruct me in the nuances of business and its related activities.

Moreover, he has introduced me to several important persons and this has vastly improved my not inconsiderable gregarious nature. I have always strived to improve myself from all possible perspectives, whether it be sports or academics. Consequently, while still in school, I had been very determined to undertake higher education in the US. Undoubtedly, the quality of education and the values to be learned in this greatest of nations, is extraordinary, excellent and unsurpassed. After a lot of diligent research I reached the incontrovertible conclusion that the University of California had all that I wished to acquire, in my chosen career.

This university boasts of management schools that can be counted
