Client’s 16 October Dietary saturated fat and cardiovascular health This particular article sheds light upon how eating certain kinds of fats would severely affect our health. It is an open secret that many cardiovascular diseases spread when we do not eat healthy food. These days junk food has become incredibly popular and more and more people are choosing to eat junk food almost on a daily basis. The article also talks about cholesterol, it is a well known fact that excessive cholesterol in our body triggers off a heart attack, excessive cholesterol is formed when excessive fats are consumed and the same can have serious ramifications. It is very important to know about foods which contain excessive fats and which once consumed will harm our body. Internet is available at our disposal but there are still many people who do not know much about what to eat and what not to eat. More often than not they get tempted when they see tasty food being sold and they immediately buy it and consume it without even thinking about the consequences. Great looking food may taste well but at the end of the day it harms our body and after a certain point our body is bound to develop severe problems. The article talks about the increased risk of cardiovascular diseases and how these deadly diseases can be avoided. This particular article must be read by everyone so that they become aware of what should be consumed and what should not be. Love Red Meat? The love red meat article succinctly presents the level of cholesterol in red meat and whether one should consume it and in what quantity should red meat should be taken in. These are some really important questions which the article answers really well. Not many people know that red meat can help them a lot, it can prevent heart diseases and keep one really fit and healthy but one must remember that it must be taken in the right quantity. No one wants people going overboard and consuming red meat in high quantities. It is really important these days to strike a right balance between things; one must cut down on excessive fat it can have serious ramifications. Nuts and fish can be superseded by a little bit of red meat and it will work out really well should this happen. It is very important to live a healthy lifestyle because health always comes first. I was quite startled upon reading this article because I did not know that red meat was good for our hearts, I have started suggesting red meat to my friends. Eating red meat in a controlled fashion is really healthy. So many people die of heart diseases why don’t we prevent what can be prevented? Heart diseases should be prevented and eating red meat is a good way out to accomplish this difficult mission. The article is really informative and one should try their best to follow what is written in the article. Heart diseases can be avoided it is not very difficult to do so but one needs a lot of discipline and diligence to be able to do so. Sea Salt Vs Table Salt Sea salt has a no of benefits and for most chefs it is much better than table salt, they believe that it tastes much better than table salt and has a no of other advantages when compared to table salt. The sodium content in sea salt and table salt is just about the same but not too many people know this. The sodium intake must be controlled to live a healthy lifestyle but people have become really careless these days and they eat whatever comes their way and they do not even bother about the serious ramifications it can have on their health. “The minute amounts of trace minerals found in sea salt are easily obtained from other healthy foods,” Johnson said. “Sea salt also generally contains less iodine than table salt. Iodine has been added to table salt since the 1920s to prevent the iodine-deficiency disease goiter.” (Sea Salt Vs Table Salt) One must ensure that the sodium intake remains limited, it is a fact that sea salt and table salt both have the same amount of sodium levels present in it. These things are really important and must be kept in mind at all times; little attention is being paid to it whereas it demands attention. One can stay healthy should he know what to eat and how much to eat. There would be no heart problems, no obesity should one have perfect discipline but it is really difficult to discipline yourself, it becomes all the more difficult when one has a plethora of great options to choose from. Functional Foods and Their Colorful Components There are some foods that can provide human beings with additional health benefits, these foods will satisfy our nutritional needs but they will also have other advantages and one needs to be aware of it. It is also important to eat a variety of foods to stay healthy, there are foods orange or red in color these are really useful. Foods like carrots and pumpkins can have additional health benefits and should be consumed almost on a daily basis. Canned Pumpkin puree can be used when making a lot of dishes which are consumed on a daily basis; these dishes can really help one get healthier and live a better life. Packed raw carrots should be given to children as snacks and not burgers, donuts and other junk foods. It is also important to know that carrots can choke children who are under five years and one must avoid feeding them with carrots. Green vegetables should be included in the diet, it is really necessary to have them included. Chopped spinach should be consumed in breakfast to get energy; Spinach gives a lot of energy and is the best when it comes to choosing a healthy breakfast. Milk products should also be included in the diet, they are mostly white in color and as far as plausible one must try and eat foods which are different in color and which have additional health benefits. It becomes all the more important these days to eat foods of different colors because life has become really demanding and we need a lot of energy to accomplish our daily tasks, the article was really informative and I really enjoyed reading it. Adding Fish to Your Diet There are several advantages of adding fish to your diet but one must be aware of contaminated fish and the health hazards of consuming contaminated fish. “Which type of fish is the most contaminated? It’s a toss-up. Wild ocean-dwelling fish aren’t likely to contain antibiotics like farmed fish, and may contain fewer pesticides and environmental pollutants. But fish farming provides greater control of water quality, which may result in less pollution. “Organic pollutants are all over the map,” says Joyce Nettleton, DSc, a nutrition scientist and consultant who studies fish. Some data show that wild fish have more contaminants—including mercury, pesticides, and chemicals—than farmed.” (Adding Fish to Your Diet) The mercury content present in a fish can have a lot of unwanted effects on our health; fish with lower mercury contents should always be preferred over fish that have higher levels of mercury content present in their body. Catfish is considered safe to eat because it has really low levels of mercury content present in its body, one must always look for catfish because it is safe and healthy to consume. Flounder, haddock and sardines are also considered good for human beings. On the other hand one must stay away from fish like Tilefish, Ahi Tuna and Swordfish these fish may cause damage to our health. To conclude it is very fair to say that one must be aware these days, there are plenty of information sources available at one’s disposal and we must start making the most of it.
