One such natural resource that has undergone sharp decline in the last few decades is the natural gas. Natural gas is one of the most massively consumed natural resources. Owing to its great application and usability in various industries, natural gas has become an obviously important natural resource.
Technically, it is a mixture of various alkanes’ hydrocarbons primarily of saturated light paraffins such as methane and ethane, both of which are gaseous under atmospheric conditions. The mixture also may contain other heaver hydrocarbons, such as propane, butane, pentane, and hexane and few other gases such as nitrogen, carbon monoxide carbon dioxide etc.
Considering the fact that in 1993 the company's shares were trading at $3.18 the investor would have received a return of well over 150% during the 12 year time frame from dividends and return of capital. Dividend growth has also been strong especially from 2001 through 2005.
