Extract of sample "Emotional Intelligence Results"

As an example, many people who have top positions also have emotional problems. I know that part of this test is supposed to tell how an individual would handle their emotions, but it seems to me that an individual would react differently depending on the situation. As an example, you may think you would act calmly in a situation but when it actually happens, it may be something that triggers upset instead. Emotional intelligence does not seem to be the best way to judge someone especially if they were trying out for a job.

In a job situation, it would seem that there would be more opportunities to talk about what someone would do on the job and perhaps there would be a way to do some "hands-on" direction instead of relying only on emotional intelligence.
