Upon my arrival to the United States of America, I have had the opportunity to become involved in different types of writing styles. I started to write very poorly and I have seen I have had progress in my writing skills. During my first two years in college, I struggled to think in English, speak in English, write in English, and hopeful dream in English.

They say that if you dream in a foreign language you have a domain in it. I am still trying to dream in English. As a transfer student from Hong Kong, my first two years of writing experience was based on my opinions. Upon entering into the International Business major spring of 2007, my writing experiences have been limited but diverse. As you will notice I have written papers for Speech 180 to class Analysis for Operations Management.I have had several experiences in writing in the English language.

I have several examples of writing tasks in my portfolio, such as:My experiences in college. I believe those to be my best papers during that period in time.An opinion or argumentative paper on “Why is it dangerous to depict women and men as sex objects in television commercials, advertisement and even sports?My research paper was based on Rhetoric Analysis on Richard Nixon. This topic dealt with his Resignation Speech.I wrote a topic that concerned my major and it dealt with a company´s assessment.

I also wrote about the Roche WOTS UP Analysis Central Nervous System Segment topic.The classes that I have had to take have all helped me to develop into the writer I am today.
