The country has witnessed an increase in the dominance of Mars as the superior pet food and care product provider. The preferred distribution channel for the pet foods has been the pet shops that are situated logistically along with the main allies of Beijing. In this event, this report will provide a situational analysis of the dog pet care product market, competitive strategies, and proposals on customer-oriented notions in Beijing, China.

The pet care product production is anticipated to inflate in the coming years given the changing trends of pet humanization by many persons in the state as they imitate the western world. The individuals give much preference to dog food products of higher specialized products that were based on the recommendations given by their veterinarians and also due to the wellness and health trend that has continued to be witnessed in the state.

Findings
It was found out that:

  • Determination of appropriate pet food based on their veterinarians and also due to the wellness and health trend that has continued to be witnessed in the state.
  • To provide dog food products of high nutritive and supplementary value to the dog pets in China.

The trends are projected to witness steady growth in the coming years and thus boosting the sales as well as the pet food business industry. In the report, it is realized that a PESTLE analysis is vital in the provision of the situation marketing situation if the organization were to establish a business firm in the country. Political, social as well as economic factors play a vital role in the success of a business entity. A SWOT analysis, on the other hand, is vital in giving the strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities that exist in an organization and provide an avenue for the creation of sustainable objectives and strategies to ensure a flourishing business.

Trade is increasingly gaining a global perspective due to the rapid technological advancements and the ever-increasing innovativeness and need to venture into new markets. The increased technological advancements have since witnessed the increase in competition among companies as the customers seek to venture in on new products that are appealing to their dynamic needs (Muhlbacher, 2006). Various countries have taken initiatives aimed at the promotion of trade through international trade agreements and treaties like the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the adoption of general treaties on tariffs either regionally or internationally.
