In my opinion, I fit in the category of the VALS survey from Strategic Business Insights. Moreover, I categorize myself as a consumer who is innovative in nature as I am open to change. In addition, the status quo of my family is above average; therefore, I am confident that I can acquire any products that are present in the market. I value the image of a product more than the character as I have a tendency of acquiring products that will make my image be noticed by many in any gathering or scenario where I am present. An example is that I would prefer a gold wristwatch over a silver since gold is rare and easily noticed by a lot of people in society.
What Product Or Service Do You Buy That Shows You Fit Into These Categories?
Most products that I buy fall under prestige products. Brand plays a great deal in the buying and selling of this product. Moreover, good brands are known to be more expensive as compared to brands that are poor in quality. An example of my accessories like watches is always made of gold or diamond. When purchasing food items, I purchase those with the highest prices as I believe that they are the ones that match my image. Most times I find myself embarrassed about buying cheap goods and this has always led to low self-esteem in my personality.
