Managers need to improve their skills for the sake of their own job because today’s entrepreneurs offer positions to individuals who are well versed with the use of the latest software in the market. The technological expertise of young graduates has jeopardized the professional career if the elderly managers that rely on their experience for the basic survival in the job market, what to talk of progress in it. The skills and mindset of people can be developed so as to make them effective managers with the help of a whole range of thinking tools and creative approaches.

Numerous programs like Go Group (n.d.) and EnCompass (2011) are being offered in order to achieve this. Concepts offered in these programs need to be integrated into the management practice. “Concept Keys uses case studies and activities/exercises to build an association between the keys and best practices communication behaviors.” (Powers, Bodie, and Fitch-Hauser, n.d., p. 8). The realization of techniques like Concept Keys is a big step forward in the enhancement of management skills and their training.
