They participate in events to benefit children such as 'Coats for Kids' and toy drives during the holidays ("Coats" 2007). This aspect of leadership brings the team together in a common bond that transcends being simply teammates. Along with the players' role as leaders, Coach Tony Dungy uniquely makes his demands on the field. He does not scream, swear, or throw things to show his disappointment. He is quietly demanding and his demand is for excellence. These two aspects of the team are seen on the field in what Weaver (2004) calls, ".

loyalty, charity, and diligence".The team's strong Christian ethics have also contributed to their winning. They are humble in their success. This is illustrated in their holding back on premature celebrations, taunting, or personal fouls. The pragmatic result is fewer penalties. Along with this character comes the trait of humility. This may be the Colt's biggest intangible asset. When they win, they win as a team. And when they lose, they all lose. Peyton Manning has never taken the credit for a win.

When they lose, he takes his blame and responsibility for it. All the players share in this attitude. There are no stars, only a team. This makes winning not only the most important thing but also the only thing. The other characteristic that sets the Colts apart from other teams is their work ethic. They focus on the game and the playbook. They watch tapes until they know intuitively how the opposition will act and react. The receivers know instinctively where the ball is being thrown as if they had eyes in the back of their head.

These things come from hard work. On the football field, it pays off in completed passes and first downs. When these attributes are put together with some of the finest athletes in the league it produces success. Many teams have the athletes, the coaches, and the technology, but few have the aspiration and the inspiration it takes to make a team.Chris's StressStress for college students is a "Natural and inevitable occurrence in college life" (Carlson 2002). I would tell Chris that the greatest stress reducers for a college student are organization and time management.

Stress is usually caused by a lack of planning, failure to prepare, and time bandits. A calculus exam would not be stressful if the student was ready for it. However, we too often hear the words, "I didn't have time to study". Organizing and planning the day to set aside time for your priorities could minimize the time bandits that rob us each day. We could reclaim those minutes standing in line at the bank by using those minutes to study. We could get out of bed thirty minutes earlier each day and gain 3 and a half hours a week.

That extra time can be the prescription we need to help alleviate the day to day stress of college life.
