Using the available historical data I applied regression models to predict future exchange rates between the KRW & NZD. Using regression analysis I was also able to predict the expected future inflation in NZ and Korea which are greatly related to the concepts of applied econometrics. In addition, using the concepts of money demand and supply I was able to predict future trends such as inflation and exchange rates (macroeconomic).Using macroeconomic indicators such as GDP deflator & CPI I was able to measure economic performance. Using poly mix I helped determine the effects of fiscal and monetary policies. This knowledge is particularly relevant to international trade and therefore very helpful.

In the process of working and understanding the internal organisational relations, I will be asking myself a number of questions. Firstly, I will ask myself what is the organisation’s culture. Secondly, I had to ask myself the question of what are the reporting procedures so as to work effectively. I also must work while answering the question of what are the organisational goals and what can I do to assist in the realisation of the same. 2. Identify some of the possible external stakeholders and comment briefly on the likely significance of the relationship.
Some external stake holders include universities and colleges in the NZ. They are significant since our customers as well as our services are crucial to students coming to study in the NZ. The business world today is faced with a number of challenges considering the global nature of the modern business environment. Globalisation is a major challenge in the business world today. Organisations must work hard for example to understand local culture in foreign territories. This presents a problem when it comes to penetration of new markets and product design so as to appeal to the locals. Another challenge to business today is uncertainty. The businesses community faces uncertainty in markets, the global economy, the ever changing regulatory environment, growing competition and also the effects of new technology on business.
2. Use Carroll’s Pyramid of Corporate Social Responsibility (1981) as a framework for your discussion.
In order to make decisions on these issues our organisation must consider a number of issues. The stakeholders, the public and everyone else must be considered so as to ensure the decisions arrived at are good. On uncertainty, for instance, the organisation will have to strategically balance between short and long term plans. Long term plans for instance inform the bigger goals while short term strategies allow reaction to uncertainty with flexibility. On the issue of globalisation, the organisation needs to make information by better understanding the international market as well as different cultures. This is possible with accurate proactive gathering of information and analysis of the same.
