“Becoming Van Gogh” is a creation of the Palettes restaurant in a celebration of the rich and unique art works of Vincent van Gogh. In this section, there were collections that were thematically connected to the Mud exhibition on the initial floor, allowing people to visit and re-visit different sections of the museum.

This section in its design offers an exemplary view to both classes of adults and children. The modern gallery has many plagues placed next to each has are art pieces which when scanned have the capacity to redirect the viewer to a webpage which bears more detailed information on the selected art piece. These plaques by their design appear to be longer than the conventional ‘tombstones’ desired by many of the museums, which include the lengthy descriptions of the inventive process and very short interviews done with the artist.

When analyzed contextually, African art bears two important features of interest to the viewers which are Western perspectives about Africa and Artifacts.
