Plato’s Apology Apology by Plato is one of the widest forensic oratories that Socrates shields himself against his plaintiff’s in a court. He claimed to know nothing; they knew nothing or little, hence imagining that they knew everything (Jowett et al, 76). On the second occasion he meets Meletus an accuser in an interrogation. He gets to ask himself if people view him in the perspective of being a corrupter then who could be the developer of the citizens. There is a reflection that states that he trains men not to obtain the gods obtained by the city, also possessing other new gods. He wonders if is the approach in which he is thought to corrupt the youth. Parting Meletus, he goes back to his original accusations. In both speeches, there are several conclusions that can be drawn.
