That is, the original architect of the building followed the peculiarity of the place with its climate and underlying terrain. Maintained as a mix of Greek and Renaissance styles, the building incorporates the feeling of memesis if looking at it through the lens of a particular inspiration. In other words, the so-called Euclidian ratio is well performed in both external and internal significant parts of the building. Furthermore, an antebellum representation of the building reminds an observer of the puritan tradition set by the Founding Fathers at the very outset of the American democratic thought.
Thus, I was seeking to realize the exact impulse on creating such a great building in an architectural point of view. This idea never left throughout the scope of different elements I could extract out of the building. Implemented in the Georgian style, the building of the local library amplifies the symmetrical forms used in ancient times and the right angles spread over the entire building. Definitely, an architect approached the architectural design as an artist capable of creating art (Janaro and Altshuler 161).
Henceforth, the building presupposes a vision of past through the implications of Modernism and, above all, Postmodernism in the art of architecture. Thus, the architectural terms of harmony, form and function fit well into the overall look and performance of the building in its practical use. Part 2 The graffiti near my house is what I am likely to discuss from the artistic point of view. First of all, it is an abstract sketch of two men (black and white) united by means of a great basketball ball.
Represented in bright colors, the graffiti is a plexus of different ideas written both verbally non-verbally. Thus, the composition of this piece of street art is based on the wall of a take-away, on its visible side. Needless to say, the medium of the graffiti coheres with its purpose. Obviously, the artist followed the way the early artists did, namely following the technique of imitating what one sees (Janaro and Altshuler 116). Notably, the main idea is brotherhood which comes to being firm within the neighborhood.
Furthermore, the favorite game serves as a means of standing united. Looking at the misbalanced social situation in the United States, the artist sought to develop a debate through the art of graffiti. It concerns with the idea of discrimination ostensible within the American society today. The looks of two men are too serious to say everything goes well. Thus, the graffiti itself is a powerful impulse from within the artist’s soul which illuminates the need for a social change starting with everyone separately (Gottlieb 50).
Furthermore, the foreshortening taken by the artists seems more picturesque and that underlines all hidden details such as shades and hues (Janaro and Altshuler 120). Seemingly, the graffiti creates the picture of likeness in terms of the street experience and attempts to make something for better. It goes without saying that the artist was in search of himself through depicting different elements of the sketch. In this respect graffiti itself is how one longs for seeing the art in himself/herself (Davis 5).
Hence, an artistic representation of this graffiti with a direct reference to the current social abnormality gives grounds to state it is more about weighing all pros and cons and imitating what is going on around. In
