Therefore, an effective juvenile justice worker has great scope for assisting the society through the management of the behavior of the youths as well as helping the rehabilitation and youth development through mentoring and coaching youths in developing various pro-social skills.

In other words, for juvenile justice workers to work within the field of juvenile justice means a way to contribute to the development of society as well as the correction and rehabilitation of the youth. One of the fundamental duties of the juvenile justice workers is to make sure that the young offenders follow all the strict rules and laws that apply within this field and the effectiveness of a juvenile justice worker depends on how competently he carries out this duty. It is essential to comprehend that juvenile justice falls into the area of corrections and human services work which offer these workers the opportunity of helping society and the youth.

In ensuring the strict observance of the various strict rules and laws by the young offenders in the juvenile justice system, effective juvenile justice workers need to employ strategies that cater to the different challenges in the system. The approach or the strategy adopted by the juvenile justice workers has a vital role in the effective implementation of the various strict laws and rules. One effective organizing principle for the practice of the juvenile justice workers is the strength-based approach which helps the professionals in seeking out clients' abilities, resources, and gifts.

This approach can help the juvenile justice professionals in guiding the young offenders to the observation of the strict rules and laws. Juvenile justice professionals can balance accurate descriptions of problems of the clients with equally accurate descriptions of strengths. "An innovative philosophy is an important starting point, but juvenile justice practitioners need tools with which to craft strength-based interventions in real-world settings. Indeed, the passion, energy, and commitment of juvenile justice workers who espouse a strength-based approach against all odds in increasingly punitive juvenile justice environments are likely the greatest strengths of the juvenile justice system itself.

" (Nissen, 2006, p 40). Thus, effective strategies of dealing with the behavioral problems of the clients in the juvenile justice system can help the professionals in ensuring the strict observance of the various laws and rules in the system. Whereas the authority of the juvenile justice professionals over the young clients has a great advantage in the effective surveillance of these strict laws and regulations, it is essential that a constructive strategy of authority is implemented so as to take part in the public safety and accountability role as well as the rehabilitation and youth development role.
