Different expressions are applied as they have different meaning per the information being given out. The relationship of the signs applied as facial expression affects students understanding. Teacher incorporates the facial expression to emphasis on the discussion in the class hence improving student’s interaction. The study aims in explaining reason behind the facial expression in lecture. Therefore, issues regarding the facial expression are broad leading to research at facial expression to affect the students as introduced by the ethnographic films. The interaction of student and their teachers are largely expressed through the facial expression. The major role of facial expression is showing the inner feeling and whether reaction of the students. Lecturers are supposed to understand different reactions of the student in their classes whereby they are in a position of interpreting their needs. While teaching, the lectures are supposed to apply some of the reactions that help in driving the points. The student understands clearly while they are expressed through the reactions. Feelings are essential while they are expressed rather than being spelled in language. The higher percentages of the students depend with the reactions and at the same time the best lecturer always apply some facial expression while lecturing. Therefore, the relationship of the lecturing depends with the how the facial expression matters to the students. According to ethnographic films, presentation of nonverbal communication may have different meaning to the students. There are student having the difficult while hearing while others are not in a position of interpreting the signs. There teachers should be in a position of distinguishing the nature and type of the signs depending with the environment. Some schools are specialized with the sign teaching to student while others major with the verbal for normal students (Mandal & Awasthi, 2015). During the mixture of the students, the lecturer should also employ the use of the signs and facial expression more than the talking. The ethnographic films addresses some of the issues covering the ethnographic tools that are applied in nonverbal communication. These includes body signs such as facial expression and sign languages. The most important issues are connected to the relationship of the lecturer and their students in school context and how they impact on the education. Therefore, ethnographic films aims in presentation of the appropriate approach that are essential in the development of the body language especially through nonverbal communication approach. There are student whom have challenges in speaking and were normal previously and other students whom have no challenges in speaking, leads the lecturer to have a good understanding of appropriate expressions that would accommodate the two groups. The issues that are supposed to be considered while lecturing are directly to the understanding of the students and expression of the feelings. The application of facial expression is majorly used while teaching is essential in giving the students the real meaning of the text. The issues presented in film reveals that the relationship of the lecturer and the student is connected through the feeling and understanding while in school. The lecturer is supposed to use the nonverbal communication in directing the point and helping the student to understand the content. Students have no other ways of expressing their reaction and hence the lecturer should be in a position of understanding the facial expression too. This helps in ensuring there is harmonious environment that is directing the class in similar direction. Therefore, the facial expression is much important while dealing with the mixed class. The lecturers are supposed to become more excellent in making their observation and applying the facial expression for the students to understand the text content. In most cases, the classes of verbal students have a number of challenges regarding the facial expression. The students are supposed to sit for a single examination. The lecturer assesses the student at the same capacity. The issues of concern are whether the student understood the content. The expressions among the students toward the lecturer are also more important in contributing to the student’s performance (Fridlund, 1994). According to research, the student majorly depends with the lecturer’s facial expression while teaching. This helps in driving the emotions and understanding regarding to the situations. Therefore, the understanding of the student is essential depending with the reaction of the lecturer. The major concern is directed to the nature and qualification of the lecturer. The interactive lecturer and application of the facial expression regarding to the text is more influential rather than lecturer who merely uses the appropriate facial expression. Inappropriate application of facial expression misleads the students and hence affecting their response regarding the study. In active learning that engages the entire student in class, the lecturer is supposed to apply the facial expression. The interaction is enhanced through engagement and observation. The connection of lecturer with the students understanding is measured through the response of the students. In real nature, the student should be in a position of imitating their lecturer (Clay-Warner & Robinson, 2008). The actions that are presented during the lecturer are essential depending with the text. The information presented is more likely to become more dependent with the students understanding and hence being attractive. Therefore, the lecture becomes more entertaining and hence the students are attracted to this mode of communication. Students only respond through either facial expression or in application of signs for specialized schools. The concerns are the best application of these expressions that would fit to all students. The major concerns are directed in achieving the highest understanding to reveal the relationship of the student with their lecturer. The common signs and expression are supposed to give similar meaning. This helps the students and their lecturer in getting to similar conclusion regarding to the teaching. Therefore, a good lecture has to apply all the techniques that seeking in understanding the student’s states. The issue of concern is on the explanation where the students have to consider the information if fully understood by the entire class. The relationship of the lecturer and the student is directed from the class subjects and response of the students. Applications of facial expression have several advantages to the learners depending with the topic under discussion (Cole & Spalding, 2009). The presentation of emotion guides in communicating. The movement of facial mouth and eyes differs depending with the feeling and emotions. They are under control of the speaker and the situation. The feelings and emotion regarding the topic under discussion shows how deep is the context. The seriousness about the issues is also presented through the facial expression. The students having other background other than talking have the capability of interpretation the facial expression with a lot of ease. The movement of facial muscles, mouth and eyes leads to exclusive coverage of the information regarding the text context. The student understands the information clearly while associating with the variation of the expression and how they are applied. Therefore, the speaker such as the teacher needs to ensure they are applying the appropriate and the collect facial expression not to mislead the students. The nonverbal communication is essential for the student whom had the capability of hearing previously. These students depend with the facial movement of the muscles and the mouth. Therefore, the issues that are presented dearly depend with the movement of facial muscles, mouth and eyes (Hess & Philippot, 2007). Looking at the mouth movement, the students are in a position of telling the name that ate being used. The lecturers should understand they have a great role while they are using the facial expression. The other advantage of the facial expression is presentation of the moods and feeling of the person applying it. The student seeks to understand the position of their lecturer through their observation. This is essential in directing the students the status of the class whether lecture is involving. The other consideration is directed to the lecturer whereby they are in a position of understanding their students. In covering the lecturer, they are in a position of students in understating the context. The situation in the class is essential as they are able to know while they are happy or sad. The atmospheres of the class are essential in presentation of the information by the lecturer. The satisfactory status of the student can be seen through the facial expression and how the students are reacting on the lectures. Facial expression gives a clear satisfactory character of the student in that they understand or not. The lecturer has the chance of understanding the student’s character regarding their facial expression. While they are contented with the lecture, they can reveal it in their face through certain reactions. This goes contrary to if the information is not well understood. The connection of the student with their lecturer is essential in determination of the nature of facial expression that is presented (Coan & Allen, 2007). The information or the idea may be interesting or boring to the audience and therefore the lecturer has the capacity of telling their take to the presentation. The closeness of the lecturer with the student has the similarity in the facial expression and hence bringing their interest of the students. Impacting the students with the required knowledge is done through the use of the different facial expression that directs the points. The nature of the student’s information should be incorporated with the application of facial expression, mouth movement and also the use of facial muscle movement. Therefore, lecture and the students have the chance of using their facial expression regarding in expressing their emotions. The other issues presented by the facial expression are removal of doubt while information is being presented. The professor or the student gets to understand clearly as it is impossible for one can present two or more facial expression at one time. The issues about facial expression depend with the environmental changes of the speaker, the situation and feelings and at the same time the nature of the information being presented (Ekman & Friesen, 2011). The changes of the moods and the feeling of the communicator, changes the facial expression and hence distorting the information being offered. Consistency of having one person as the speaker like the lecturer, the student or the audience have ease time in understanding the facial expression and the mouth movement. The essential consideration is done through the information that is presented to the intended audience. Nonverbal student of who had the capability of hearing earlier are in the position of understanding the mouth movement (Coan & Allen, 2007). The facial muscle movement present different messages and hence interpretation depends with the different situations. The situations considered are directed in achievement of the best from the lecturer. The student takes the highest responsibility in controlling their lecturer’s emotion changes and moods. Their performance attracts the professors through different scenarios (Russell & Dols, The psychology of facial expression, 2000). The major concern is directed from the point of relationship of the professor with the class. According to the study, the students understand while the professors have different facial expression different from the normal. Smiling attracts the student close to their lecturer and hence indication of happiness. It also reveals the classes have attractive attributes and have done according to the professors wish. Therefore, the attentive large number of the student pays attention on their professor’s welfare and issues. Smiling is a facial expression that is noted easily by the student as it presents the happiness of the professor with the work performance of the students. Application of facial expression in class is essential in involvement of the student with the clear understanding of the context. The lecturers are supposed to ensure the students are getting the grasp of the text and the content for easier in memory. The nature of the student is different and therefore, the professors should engage the student in the emotional changes, tonal variation and facial changes for concentration. This mode of lecture attracts the student s and at the same time revealing the exact meaning (Carter & Bailey, 2012). The considerations that are made have to undertake the changes required through the curricular teaching and hence improvement for the students presentation. In conclusion, Facial expressions have a large role and impact on the student learning and understanding. According to the research study, students have great dependence with the facial expression made in the process of lecture. The essential consideration that the professors have is presentation of the emotion and different moods to the students. The nonverbal students are capable of understanding the nature and environmental of the context being taught in the class. They have also a chance to respond effectively on the reaction of the lecturer during their study. It is essential in understanding that facial expressions have great impact on the students learning and understanding. According to different research study, the students have revealed their interest in involvement during the lecture. The professors have to engage the student in application of facial expression changes. The other major concern is on the coverage of the issues regarding the needs of the students. The lecturers are supposed to involve the student emotions and moods change for context and text understanding. The relationship of the lecturer and the student is bought the facial expression and other forms of communications such as gesture and mouth movements. The revelation from the research shows how the student supports the application of facial expression during the class presentation. Therefore, the recommended mode of teaching is one that has ample application of the gestures and facial expression during the explanation presentation. The students have the chance of understanding the emotions and mood of the presentation. The major concern is on the direction being taken in ensuring the need of students is met.
