Name Instructor Course Date Career Plan and CV I believe that I pose the qualities to be a good engineer. I am creative individuals and often think in a contemplative way regarding various issues that are of practical significance. Being capable of identifying relationships and patterns to other individuals that are not an obvious challenge, is perhaps my greatest strengths. This will be significantly valuable because an integral part of being an electrical engineer is to grasp the balance between theory and practice, intuition and analytical rigor. I have excellent communication skills, and I like expressing my views and concept both in oral and written form. My past work as an intern in the area of industrial engineering was typified by a dichotomy of approaches. This contributed to both my analytical and problem-solving approach. Nevertheless, the courses that I study in anengineering course deals with a number of the tactical and operationissues. My principle aim as an intern was to garner an understanding in the Engineering relates specific issues, modeling the problem accordingly and finding a reasonable optimal solution. Principally, my main goal lies in disseminating knowledge in the engineering field. I intend to use my educational knowledge in becoming a research or design engineer. I find the consistency and logic of engineering most gratifying. Nothing satisfies me more than the correct and appropriate solution for an engineering problem. As such, my most important goal lies in the fact that as an engineer I have the opportunity of making real contributions to the society and lives of other people in the society. I can think of nothing satisfying than modeling solutions that will improve life on earth.Certainly, engineering holds utmost significance, and I maintain that engineering links masses to pure sciences. I seek to work in any organization that focuses on design aspects of engineering. This will not only improve my skillset, but garner specific knowledge that will be beneficial to the society. In furthering my ambitions and goals, I will be competent in designated tasks and teamwork. When I first started as an intern my firsts few weeks were met by battling deals with a backlog of unfinished work. I recognized that I had a weakness when it comes to managing time with respect to designated tasks. I have since researched and expanded my knowledge in time management and subsequently taken a management course. But, it is an aspect that I am still vigilant of. Hence, I make a concerted effort in applying the principles learned in my daily activities. Curriculum Vitae Career Summary I am a dedicated, result oriented individual with a six-month experience as an intern in a reputable engineering company. As such, I can disseminate work functions in the most appropriate manner. Proficiency in preparing different layouts for different designs in any projects. Given my experience, I can guarantee flawless designs in affiliated projects. I can logically implement and design systems that suit the functionality of a problem at hand. Hence, appropriately identify and present solutions in any industrial problem. My knowledge in project management has facilitated my knowledge in monitoring project cost, timeliness, resource deployment and quality work. The quality of work offered will sideline the different aspects of process management. An eye for identifying and resolving conflicts in the workplace environment. Previous work place environment has equipped me with problem-solving skills in different organizational setting. Skillset Developing and preparing designs and technical specifications in different aspects. Provision of engineering support and technical inputs to support my team in completing a specified project. Preforming requirement analysis in finalizing the specifications and validating electrical designs. Coordination of techno-commercial activities and electrical drawing designs. Effective management of the installations, erections and the commissioning of electrical systems. Proficiency in Matlab, C tcl , LTSpice, and Verilog HDl Personality Traits Strong communication skills Proficient in decision making An effective team player Strong problem and analytical skills Projects Experience INSERT NAME OF YOUR UNIVERSITY Designed and Physical Implementation of the AM radio Receiver Class: Communication Circuits Designing a TRF receiver capable of receiving the AM band. The verification of the circuit was facilitated by simulation using the LTspice. Designing breadboard that ensured the effective functionality of the circuits with applicable and practical components. Assembling the design in permanent form, through soldering the components to a regular PCBs pattern. The frequency achieved ranged between 520 KHz to 1720 KHz, compounded by a 50mW power into an 8-ohm loudspeaker. Designing a fully differentiated capacitor amplifier incorporated into an ADC Advanced Analog Circuit The modeling of a system-level design of 5MHz, 7-bit ADC. It necessitated for a full-scale voltage 1.4 V. An appropriate switch MOSFET size was selected. An ideal OTA model was selected in determining the OTA specifications. The modeling of an OTA satisfied the requirements. Plugging OTA in a fully differentiated switched capacitor typified by a sample and hold amplifier with MOSFET switches running the clock phases. During the design process, it was essential to ensure that it got a setting error of 1/2Vlsb throughout the full-scale input. Designing a CMOS Operational Amplifier Analog Electronics Circuits A preliminary design was thought of in-line with the relevant specifications provided, which calculated the transistor’s sizes. Its verification was facilitated by the LTspice. The circuit simulated DC operating was further tuned, DC small signal gain and DC transfer curve, AC analysis and Common-mode small signal gain was identified. The system maintained a low Frequent Gain of about 88.31 dB, Unity gain Frequency of about 70. 91 MHz CMRR of 95 dB and overall power consumption of 99uW. Designing an 8_bit Micro Processor Digital VLSI circuits A proposal was designed in order to determine the circuit’s topology. Cadence was used in constructing the schematics for each of the circuits. Ley elements were further analyzed important parameters that consolidated the frequency, delay and sizing using with W and L values. A simulation was conductedto tune a considerable sizing with a finished layout of the finished parts. The circuit was fully implemented through the layout in Virtuosos and LVS clean. Achievements Successful completion of different projects in the field of electrical Engineering MBE Young Investigator Awards, 31st North American Molecular Conference 2013 Outstanding student award in project simulation, Department of Electrical Engineering. National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowships Academic History INSERT YEARS OF STUDY& Schools Professional Membership Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) 3. Study Timetable 4.
