Many organizations nowadays are making life in work be in balance with available policies is an imperative action in helping their employees to balance their personal lives with their work. Nevertheless, these policies will result in being ineffective when employees feel repressed or are deprived of using policies. (Hamzah 2001) When presenting policies geared to help the employees to balance their personal lives with their work, it is essential to assure that the culture supports employees in the workplace are using the policies.

Workplace culture is connected with a wide range of benefits both for the employers and employees, as well as the affective commitment to the organization in higher levels; lowering the chances of employees leaving the organization, increasing levels of job satisfaction, and lowering the levels of stress and the experiences of conflict among family responsibilities and work-related activities.

Aside from the positive direct effects of a supportive workplace in culture, the perceptions of such are also associated with utilization rates in greater levels in terms of life and work balance policies.
