Application for hotel management training position Dear Sir/Madam, I am glad to tender my application for the management training position in your esteemed institution. My deep desire to join your company stems from the fact that it offers a good ground for growth and advancement in my career owing to its objectives and vision. I therefore believe that it will grant me the chance to improve in my career even as I move towards the completion of my studies. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Management at the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland and I am expecting to graduate by the end of the year.

I have successfully completed a High School Diploma in International Baccalaureate. I firmly believe that I have a combination of qualities that will enable me to be successful in this career. First, strong interest of working in a dynamic firm backed by a solid state of good knowledge in business administration and management will enable me to competently deliver my best skills for your firm. These basic ingredients coupled with, determination to succeed and excel, strong communication skills and ability to work hard with minimal supervision will enable me succeed in this position.

I have a wide range of practical skills in addition to my relevant academic qualifications that will further boost my performance in the position that I am applying for. I worked as an Assistant Manager position Hotel Metropole in Riga in which I was able to demonstrate my great management skills as the position demanded application of high ethical standards and professionalism. My one month work as a translator at Balva Property Management in Riga sharpened my communication skills as I had to interact with various people from all walks of life.

I have served in many institutions in the front desk which mainly deals with handling the various needs of customers who have diverse demands and expectations. In that position, I gained a lot of experience in customer relations and management. I was able to respond adequately to the questions posted by the customers through the internet, phone calls and walk-ins. I had to be well versed with the operations of the company and this proves my ability as a quick learner. My communication skills is aided by the fact that I can speak several international languages such as English language in which I am very fluent, French in which I rank myself at an intermediate level and Latvian which I am also at the intermediate level.

As a result of these qualities I can handle many customers and other stakeholders who manly speak these languages beside my Russian mother tongue. My internship with First Step fashion has granted me the opportunity to work with various people hence I am a great team player. I have basic skills in computer packages such as Windows XP, Office XP and Macintosh-Opera, Fidelio. I have taken part in a number of activities such as charity walks, team building events, environmental conservation initiatives and community mobilization events.

I am dynamic, time conscious and very optimistic person thus always seeing the positive aspect of any challenge that I face. My hobbies are based on sports activities such as volleyball, Kung Fu and tennis. Attached below is a copy of my C.V as part of the application requirements.
