The Field of Medical Technology - Admission/Application Essay Example

Some of my personal characteristics promote me to make this decision. I like hardworking when mastering sophisticated systems and techniques, enjoy solving various problems and puzzles and resolving multiple issues at the same time with permanent controlling the process of my work. In addition, I want to develop skills in communication and research, education, management related to a clinical laboratory, and generally, I like to be engaged in a dynamic clinical environment. That is why I wish for a career that will develop my skills and provide experience in science or applied sciences.

However, despite the advantages of medical technology and the clinical laboratory science sphere, I clearly understand all related complexities, because I will have to make difficult decisions about the validity of data that will be used in medical decisions. Such type of analysis requires a perfect knowledge of normal and abnormal physiology, timely adjustment of methods and laboratory data to specific diseases and thorough knowledge of instrumentation and individual test features.

However, despite the difficulties associated with medical technology and clinical laboratory science I am confidently tuned to fully master these areas of science.
