Furthermore, the questions such as when to have children and how many children to have and the time duration between the two kids were now in the hands of the women to answer and have the privilege to decide (Chesler, 2007). Since the evolution of these birth preventive measures, it has transformed the role of women in the society and has brought tremendous and radical change in their lives and they are now prominent and high-flying figures in the field of education, business world, social community, and in the domain of politics. The adaptation to this change was not simple and an ephemeral occurrence; however, apprehensive and vigilant marketing promotions and advertisements played an imperative and significant role in the acclimatization by the society (Chesler, 2007). There are several disputes and controversial statements by various researchers and experts regarding the risk of developing cancer with the consumption of birth preventive pills.
