Educational and Professional Goals - Essay Example

I have applied for admission in the two years Registered Nurse degree offered at the Snead State Junior College. While pursuing this degree, I plan on learning as much as I can about the clinical requirements of being a nurse; this would help me later on, not only when I enter the profession of Registered Nurses, of course, but also when I enroll in a Bachelors Degree in nursing. I have decided that once I get the nursing degree from the Snead State Junior College, I would pursue a bachelor’s degree in the field; I am planning on enrolling at either the University of Alabama in Huntsville or the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

I would pursue my studies there while being employed as a registered nurse at a hospital. Due to financial restraints, if I have to study at a university, I would have to work alongside to make ends meet. I feel this shows just how dedicated I am to becoming a nurse; I am willing to work really hard to follow my ambition.
