If a dropout you interviewed said that she’s falling anyway so she dropped out, but her grades say otherwise, then we can’t use the data because it’s invalid. You can also cross-check against your observations.
There are thousands of things one can write but I feel the best writing about my love for teaching. This job has become a part of my life for several years since my young school days. Nobody will forget their teachers in the younger classes. Think this is universal. As children, we spend a major chunk of our time with our teachers than with our parents. They creep into our budding memories. So the children are pasted to a loving net of teaching care. This net, sometimes we feel it to be dreary one during school days.
Young people often feel pressure to get on with their adult lives; they've just finished high school and can't imagine spending one more day in school than what was already required. They feel there is no time for more schooling; they must begin to explore life.
In my opinion, whole-to-part instruction is more helpful than part-to-whole instruction. If there is less emphasis on using the language for meaningful communication, students will not produce language fluently. From my experience, I put short sentences in my head because I learned grammar but could not express myself due to lack of practice in real life.
At the 1st meeting, I presented the idea of splitting the offenses into separate categories with their own sets of consequences - three consequences for each, on the first, second, and third offenses. Then I placed before the team the different groups I had come up with - school misconduct, substance abuse, alcohol (possession or consumption).
