School Scheduling Application Based on Student Needs - Capstone Project Example

A number of factors must be considered in order to fit everything together in a schedule. The school owner of an institution will provide the data required for the project’s development. The application will process the data provided through calculations and comparisons in order to create a school schedule that tries to satisfy the needs of the institution.Within this project, it will be attempted to complete student schedules based on various constraints. These constraints have been chosen and will be talked more at length in the paper.

However, for now, we know that students need to come on certain days, such as on Monday and Thursday, Tuesday and Friday, and Wednesday and Saturday. This would make three students total so far. Another constraint is that one student will need to come with his brother although they are taught English at different levels. Also, one student would be coming from 3 to 5 p.m., as he would not be able to come to class during working hours. Altogether, these constraints make six students, possibly more if needed.

What is going to happen is that code has been designed in order to reflect these variables using Prolog and UK eclipse software. Additionally, the use of the C++ code will help in the design of the coding for this project. The code for C++ will be run through the website codepad dot org, and from there appropriate code for Prolog and UK eclipse will be developed.
