Reasons why I would be an asset to the medical school and medical professional The demand for healthcare services has increased tremendously over the years. However, the number of medical officers remains low. Despite the effort by the medical schools to expand their facilities in order to accommodate more students, the gap remains very large. Therefore, I am looking forward towards ensuring that I serve the society through providing high quality services. This will play a significant role towards reducing congestion in the healthcare facilities.

Currently, the number of health problems affecting the society has increased tremendously. New diseases such as Ebola and various disorders have erupted. Research has become an important component towards solving these issues. In the medical school, I intend to conduct an in-depth research which will add more information to an already rich archive. This is through pinpointing the critical areas that need more research. I intend to achieve this aspect through joining hands with other students whom we share the same interests and working as a team.

This will ensure that the outcome of the research is insightful and can be used to solve modern problems. I am a leader. In high school, I led various groups towards the set objectives. I possess excellent communication skills. I intend to use these skills to guide my fellow students towards ensuring that we make a difference in the society. This is through urging them to do things differently and conduct their research with the aim of helping the society rather than just qualifying to join the medical professional.

Through this initiative, we will be able to achieve better results as a team rather than individually. The medical school has an obligation to participate towards improving the lives of the people in the society. Since I was young, I have always been yearning to participate in helping the less fortunate. As a result, I will achieve this through using my free time to offer services to the needy people. I will convince my friends in the institution to support me in this noble idea so that we can impact positively on the lives of other people.

In medical school, I intend to pursue side work through educating students and serving as a crucial resource to the public. I have passion for teaching. One of the most rewarding experiences has been tutoring high school students specifically in Math, Physics, and Biology. Therefore, I will spend some time tutoring the students especially during the holidays. This will play a significant role in improving the reputation of the institution in the society. With the increasing levels of integration in the society, there is a need for diversity among the subordinates working in the medical sector.

In the meantime, people visiting the health facilities emanates from different regions, cultures, religions, and genders. I come from a different culture with that of the local population. As a result, my entry in the medical professional will improve the level of diversity. This is because I will teach the rest of my team mates how to do things differently in order to satisfy the interests of all clients. This will be significant in solving diverse problems that are affecting the sector.
