The USA government has invested a lot in research to better the education systems so that its citizens can be more innovative and competitive. The extensive research has brought about many changes in the education sector. This paper will discuss the key changes that have occurred in the USA system of education and their impact. Additionally, the paper will also look at the driving forces to the changes giving more attention to technological changes. The paper will also discuss how good leadership catalyzes educational changes in an institution.
Educational competition is evident globally, and all nations are looking forward to making their students the best in the world. The USA has made graduating from high school to college a national imperative. The education system and curriculums are more focused on ensuring that students are competitive in their careers. This is an improvement to the former system whereby the student was supposed to read a lot of course work which might not relate to the career in the future (Films for the Humanities & Sciences, 2007). The K12 education system is aimed at providing complete and competitive education. The requirement for college education has been raised which translates into mandatory better reading in high school levels.
The number of teachers recruited in every school is much higher as compared to the numbers recruited in the past. The educational institutions are more ambitious in the kind of teachers that are recruited and how they are prepared and developed to meet the pre-set goal (Hargreaves, 2010). The academic requirement of principals and teachers is quite high, and hence schools have a good workforce to deliver quality education. According to the paper the policies that help in the administration of the education in Australia focus on implementing the learning outcomes; thus, improving the outcomes of learning, increasing the retention rates of schools and providing more funds used for research and education. Schooling in Australia starts with a kindergarten going for one year, primary and secondary education follows for 12 years.
The modern education system has been a subject of criticism due to lack of connection with the real world. The question of “why current education change is such an important issue in contemporary education” has remained a controversial question.
Because of its wide importance, school leadership has been given a prominent position in matters concerning the research on leadership, with specific emphasis on principal leadership. Principal leadership has been a subject of concern for a long time and because of this, there has developed a diverse literature on it that can be considered to be relevant in the modern context.
Education is the key to countless avenues in life. Change, on the other hand, is uncontrollable and happens whenever and wherever. Depending on the impact and the worthiness of the change, it is easy to determine whether the change is worth embracing or not. Education has had a tremendous effect in many people’s lives, and the impact is hard to explain, but of course is positive and appreciable.
In most cases, theories related to educational change has been closely examined and developed based on a lot of “internal, external, and personal” factors (Goodson, 2001). By taking the existing theories into consideration, there is a higher chance wherein the school leaders will be able to effectively create a new organizational vision that can promote the practice of teacher empowerment in schools.
There are many factors that affect the concentration of the students. Usually student's concentration is diverted by the surrounding factors. A healthy environment should be provided to the students. Students might be of any age group, from kindergarten to post graduate students.
Educational evaluation should focus upon both means and ends, paying particular attention to the ends of personal and societal growth.

The nature of research and its uses are studied and several aspects of research are highlighted in the discussion. The present and future of education and especially secondary levels of education could be considered along with the role of research within the realms of educational settings.
Generally, it could be stated that the main priority of educational centers around the world is the enhancement of the capabilities and skills of pupils/ students at all levels of education.
