The Reform in the US Education System Abstract In the contemporary world, role of education system is imperative for ensuring bright future of a nation. It is thus essential that education system is reformed periodically to comply with the ever changing aspects. Correspondingly, the aim of the assignment was to determine an action plan and investigate the items listed in the same to bring change in a positive direction. The education system in the United States has always been subjected to frequent changes. However, the reform made in the US education system still argues to lack effective measures to eliminate few major problems. In this regard, the assignment intends to investigate the problem related to the given case study and identify changes required for implementing the same as well as explain the plan that would be used to bring about the change. In this regard, the major stakeholders will be students, teachers and administrations. It is important for each stakeholder to know about the goal as it would not be possible to attain the goal without the support from each other. The second goal is to incorporate technology in the education system. The stakeholders for this goal will include students, teachers and administrations. Accordingly, the current era is driven by constant evolution and hence these stakeholders must reveal their understanding towards the changing educational system. Next goal is regarding comparability and equity. The stakeholders for this goal would include students, teachers and administrations. It is equally important that all stakeholders are aware of the goal as it is pivotal that fairness and equality is maintained in the education system without any discrimination. In the similar context, developing career ready standard is another important goal, which needs to be focused upon in order to ensure positive reform in the education system, Accordingly, the teachers, students and administrations will be the stakeholders and the goals is important for them as it would enable them to determine the path in which students are moving (Gardner & Mendoza, 2010). Finally, promoting innovation in the education system is another important aspect or the changes that need to be brought in order to eliminate the gaps associated with the current education system. Students, teachers and administration will be the major stakeholders. In addition, the goal is important for all stakeholders as it would enable to foster innovation and creativity amid students (Li & Sinn, 2010). The Feedback System to Be Used To Keep Stakeholders Informed In is important that effective feedback system is employed for informing the stakeholders about the plans that is necessary for ensuring and implementing the plan. In this regard, the different types of feedback system will be applied continuously. Notably, the meetings will be conducted with stakeholders at regular interval for conveying them about the plans and its requirements for the accomplishment of the determined goals. In addition, standards revealing the goals of the plan will also be framed and disseminated to the different stakeholders for ensuring the best solution for the problem faced currently (Sebastian et al., n.d.). The individuals involved in assessing the successful implementation of plan will be informed about their roles and responsibilities necessary for accomplishing the predetermined goals. These individuals will be required to provide information that reflects the prevailing trends as well as complexities associated with these trends. The understanding of these complexities will facilitate in determining the much favorable solution that can aid in bringing the required reform and changes. The Type of Evaluation Each Goal It is equally important that appropriate evaluation technique is applied to measure the efficiency of the plan. In this regard, to evaluate this plan formative evaluation method will be applied. Notably, this method will facilitate in understanding the flaws associated with the plan, which can be immediately addressed for achieving the desirable outcome (Rylatt, 2013). Resources or Training In order to achieve the predetermined goal, training will be arranged for teachers. Accordingly, training program will focus on relationship building between teacher and students, which is essential of experiencing the most favorable teaching-learning environment. In addition, the training will be provided by experienced professionals. In addition, the training will also stress on promoting innovation amid the students. Person involve in the Evaluation process The evaluation will be performed by the personnel hired by the Educational department. These personnel will reflect upon each and every aspect related to the change. These personnel will report to the higher authority responsible for altering any goals and plans as per the prevailing situation. Moreover, these personnel will also make necessary recommendations and suggestions that would assist the higher authority to devise strategies and new measures to cope with the identified problems or issues.
