VALUE PROPOSITION A of the idea and its Value Proposition Within the modern business environment, small enterprises are still using complicated and puzzling means for inventory management. They lack economical and easy in use solutions and need an implemented database that would allow customizing the data with no programming or other related knowledge. In the previous times, there were problems with tracking and listing certain information and remote assessing of certain data while an individual was away from home. Besides, it was impossible to manage inventory and consume tracking, while mobile services worked only on certain task, making it hard to predict the needed result. In addition, the existing system of inventory managing caused irregularities in the stock control and resulted in misunderstandings with customers. Finally, the business needs required system that would be proved as reliable. Such conditions required the new product for inventory management to be developed and implemented. Market was ready for the new multiplatform mobile app to be designed, because that would take care of personalized inventory management and record of data. For the reason that no company or product was developing a Catalogue app, a Smart Interface Solutions has registered the Catalogue app, a cheap and easy in use and setup mobile Micro Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), the product will be good idea for the small business. The product will be available on any smartphone as a powerful and smart inventory management tool. The interface will use the smartphone technologies such as camera, GPS, accelerometer and Bluetooth. The Catalogue app is a highly adaptable inventory management and tracking app, the primary target audience is the traders and small entrepreneurs focused on the stock management system with the easy interface. While, small enterprises do not have access to he significant finance for specialized hardware, the product will be a solution in this area. In terms of user interface and configurations, they are functionally identical with the larger desktop variants within the same software. The main benefits for the customer is the efficiency, ability to save user’s time, accuracy of the data received, ability to make an analysis of the data and reduction of task repetition processes. In terms of costs, the product will not cost much; customers will be able to train when using the app. It will allow customers to configure and manage their software on the computer of the usual size through the available software. An app will give a possibility to design that information which user wants. Such opportunity is one for the purpose to make Catalogue adaptable to all applications. The app will give users possibility to configure data input methods such as barcode scanning, orientation/G-sector, camera and voice recording. Catalogue will use such methods in the design for more practical data input tools. To ensure the single catalogue available to many users at the same time, the cloud based services will be provided for the product under the subscription based model. The Catalogue will have five main features which will enable the product to improve usability and allow customers more freedom in app’s functionality. The feature of Infinite UI customization aims to bring value to customers through giving them a choice of the data and inputs options displayed on screen. Accomplished in the usual size PC, the settings will be uploaded to the phone app and the user will be able to see the needed information in the screen of a phone. Such availability is given to reduce complexity of app. The other feature of Custom context barcodes will allow user to configure the barcodes for quick menu navigation and data input. If there is a need in reliable functioning of app, the Catalogue is created to ensure custom barcodes to instruct the app to make different tasks. A user will be able to scan a code for a job and bring the software to the parts list. Besides, the system will simply reduce the complications connected with the uncomfortable use of navigation feature and will allow further simplification of the interface design. The other feature, Location based menu, is the functionality that gives possibility to set to default to the certain job when the phone comes a pre-set location. Feature of Voice or video recording allows recording entries. Orientation sensitive menus allows user to set orientation and configure catalog to move certain data entry screen or menu. The technical details will include XML and CVS application basis, Barcode Scanner and Bluetooth, support from application systems on Android, IOS and Windows Phone markets, cloud services will be provided. 7. Critical Success Factors and assumptions For such product as Catalogue, there exist several factors connected with the risk of the app development and implementation. It is the primary competition that impacts the level of useage of the app. Thus, large ERP providers such as Accenture and SAP, and small Business software such as Myob and Reckon are the main competitors within the industry. Though the product is innovative and its smart interface can take advantage over those of competitors’, most businesses are also designed to meet the certain process demands. Besides, the product developer should take into account the existing inventory apps and pay attention to such features that are missing in the existing products. Thus, they have limited usability and are not customized for touchscreen use, have limited ability to export/import data and cannot store data more complex than text fields. The other risks are called by the customers, which are the main stakeholders for Catalogue. Thus, small and micro businesses use inventories for more effective management of their business assets. Collectors’ businesses require cataloguing and organizing items into categories for easier management. Different non-profit organizations need keep records for auditing purposes and to facilitate their accountability to financiers. Critically success factors that measure if the product meets the target is the sales channels. Thus, when considering such factor, the product should be selling in B2B context. Usual marketplaces may not be useful to attract customers. App marketplaces are more important as they are able to provide for a huge customer base. Getting reviews is also important for B2B model. To meet the target from selling the product and its usability, it is important to understand whether the market is a competitive. While there are currently more than thirty thousand apps released, the Catalogue entering a market can meet high buyer power but the sale prices are low. While the main input in the development of Catalogue is people, but the developer is the single person, no threat of external forces to cause the cost of supply can occur. In terms of new entrants, the app development market has very low barriers to entry and launching of the new product is an easy step with the low cost of such launching.
