JobStreet is running multi-regional websites which are almost similar in their content and structure however, for localization purpose they have few differences and the company is facing frequent technical problems. Since the company is significantly dependent on online search engines to attract the traffic therefore, problems in these search engines directly influence the traffic of the website. For example, the recent incident of incorrect page titles and description of JobStreet on Google search engine reduced the traffic of the company and created problems for job seekers (Google, 2010).

The company is not only offering recruitment services but it has established its centers through which it provides career guidance and counseling services in collaboration with the educational institutions (IRDA, 2010). Being a government-owned online recruitment agency, JobMalaysia faces significant government bureaucracy and authority. In other words, the website is more vulnerable to political decisions and actions. Electronic Labor Exchange was launched in 2004 to facilitate the mobilization of human resources of the nation and the aim of the website is to boost the local placements and discourage the recruitment of foreign workers.

ELX has established its offices nationwide and the employers can conduct the interviews of the selected job seekers at any office of ELX.
