Using the film the aim is to show a presentation of gender, and explore a wide range of understanding and the acceptance of every human being in the society. The film is based on the Woolf’s novel about the subtle Orlando, who switches between genders by choice and lives externally. Tilda Swinton who acts in the part of the film and depicted as androgynous with foreseeable frequency; however, her appearance is not very masculine and does not at any point look like a man in which Orlando gender is male.

Apparently, it serves as a perfect display of Woolf’s seeming thesis that the male gender does not so much carry their activities as men but play the role of men.
