? A Conversation between the Work Interviewer and the Play Interviewer Work interviewer: Hello, what would you love to do at your capacity? That is, if you could be given the opportunity to relieve yourself from the work you do presently? Play Interviewer: I’m glad to hear from you. Actually the type of work I do presently is a form of self employment. I would really love to spend most of my time in the field, probably playing crickets and any other form of activity that would keep me fit and fresh like football. I love games because they are sources of encouragement me and motivate me to be creative. Work interviewer: I may tend to agree with your opinion but, to a lesser extent. To a greater extent I would like to inform you that playing games alone does not provide all that our dreams and emotions recommend. Work provides most of the requirements for the prosperity of a society in all that the people aspire for. If I am to rate the playing of games, I would give it a third of fourth option on my priorities as what to do. I may advise one to engage into work. Work should at all times be viewed as the central most drivers to the society’s prosperity. Therefore, work should always be perceived as the core determinant of development in any upright society. Getting time to work and express my personhood in the form of labour would be my greatest desire. Play Interviewer: What argument do you base your interests on/ do you understand the dynamism behind the contribution of the social integration and playing? Are you in a position to collect the best knowledge that you have on the idealistic side of work and its contribution to societal order as is currently done by playing? Work interviewer: The work place holds a lot of relevance to the social and mental growth of humans. At the work place one expects to meet people of diverse backgrounds from different sections in the world who posses diverse personalities. The forthright expectation would be that the recognition of people’s diversity will greatly enhance the manner and types of conversations I may engage myself into with the workmates around me. As such, I will be able to visualize myself among a group of people with similar intellectual capacities and with whom I may easily interact with. The interaction leads to acquisition of expertise and skills, diversely. Consequently, the exposure to the different work environment and various people of diverse origins gives one the ability to learn and variedly explore the social environments one works in. The attainment of this aspect greatly implies to the adoption of social learning techniques among personalities. The same also implies that there is a constant growth in proper mentalities needed to develop the societies (Van Laar & Diepeveen, 2013. p. 150). Play Interviewer: One cannot work continuously without taking commercial breaks/pauses to engage in other co-curricular activities such as playing games. Playing of games such as cricket and golf has been identified within the personality traits of intellectuals as tools for the satisfaction of their biological and social needs. This calls for deeper exploration anchored on great insights on the explicit aims and rules of playing a game, given all the accounts for the reactions in the body systems and the psychological output of playing. The internal structure of play is only contingently connected to its putative function. The main reason for this is that, through playing, can a person develop, and enhance their social developmental skills and capacities. Based on these facts, can you be able to outline and articulate the major aims and objectives of work with your reasoning and expression to the great passion derived from the comfort and satisfaction that working gives to you. Work interviewer: Work defines the relevance level of a person’s position to improve the society. The rationality in a person is determined by the ability to deliver the labour he possess to enhance the welfare of the entire society. If you are going abstain from work and embark on playing as the best thing to do during one’s free time, then the worth of existence is underestimated and the rationality of a person refuted. As such, the level of relevance of a person to the societal development will be exposed to lots of scrutinizing positions in the society. Setting on to work and delivering the personhood of a person wholly is the moral one expresses to his own and societal development (Lu, Kao, Siu & Lu, 2011. p. 158). Play Interviewer: The benefits of playing are intensively influential to personal and communal development. It is a fact-based proof of evidence that, playing will possibly offer a psychological compensation for some deep-rooted frustration. From your work place, the meeting of targets, quality assurance to the employer and ethical standards of work, send you a shadow of frustrations as meeting all these is a challenge to all. This might imply that playing could in theory have been replaced by some other behavioural techniques capable of fulfilling the same function. Work interviewer: When one subjects himself or herself to the experience of work, the interpretation of labour as ultimately dependent on our mental faculty is positioned between the edges of the abilities to meet the dreams of the person and that of the entire community. A faculty, for that matter, will be premised on the ability to think, and foresee the need to realize the goals in ones future thus, to a form of visionary intelligence. This explains to you that if you work, the vision you might have within yourself will be illuminated by the amount labour you deploy in the work. All these are defined by the dimensions of viewing the good side of life as one where new things are happening all the time or, to put it somewhat differently, where there is a frequent and exponentially increasing yield of results (Monahan, 2013. P. 84). Play Interviewer: The ability to work is not determined by the opportunity and the freedom to deploy the labour and the personhood in you. On the contrary, the will to work is as a result of the gradient between the time to free oneself from the stressful environment of the work place to the relaxation of the stale and repressive emotions. Playing has significant effects that are mostly not beneficial to the internal quality of the experience derived from the act of playing the game in itself. This function expresses the intent of playing and the goal of exposing people to playing fields. These are always hidden, and the realization of these aims and purposes of playing are linked directly to the player. As such, function-centered theories towards playing should always strive to explain the reasons behind engaging in plays. Therefore, I would like to urge you to involve yourself into a play session, and get to know much that lies beneath the player and the interest to play as frequent as recommended. Work interviewer: I agree with you. However, I would like you to note that it’s only through work that the worth of our senses can be measured. The intelligence in our spirits to work is the moral standard that can be applied in the measuring of our souls. Consequently, that our sense of worth as human agents has come to rely on the value of our work and our accomplishments as laborers is no coincidence. As such, the language and imagery of work now permeate even what were formerly certainly considered private corners of our lives. The work motivates us so much in our lifestyles. Play Interviewer: True, what you have said. This is because we need to work in our society so as to invent and accumulate resources on the dynamism of our objectives and the dreams in life. However, as intellects we must accept a fact that the ability to innovate and deliver the best of our personhood is a matter that is largely based on skills and competences in the respective fields of our study. These skills are derived and noted in the playing grounds for this is where talents are identified. We need to subject our thoughts in playing first before pursuing anything in the society (Ueda & Ohzono, 2013. pp. 154). Work interviewer: There are diverse reasons for the involvement in the work and the deployment of labour in the place of work. Personhood yields insights into cultural and social differences in many domains but, also points to the broader challenges in theories of culture and cross-cultural comparison. The ability to work is cross-checked alongside the competent skills that the people have in the society. On the one hand, all human beings and the communities where they interact with others, within and beyond local relationships, have some concepts of what it means to be human and very precise ideas concerning more specific identities and relationships. The work output of one determines the hierarchy of class the individual falls in the society (Gaydos & Squire, 2012. p. 205). Play Interviewer: Playing should not be routinely undertaken with the sole aim of acquiring some benefits that can be used to show one’s superiority in the society’s hierarchical systems. Instead, the aspects of playing should be postulated with the key aim of building on the essential benefits that are more fundamental to societal growth. The inspiration that the rest of the society owes too the players are much more intrinsic than those who work. The indispensable function of playing games should be the modulation of the experience gained from it. Therefore, any intentions one may have towards tennis playing should be designed in a manner that will improve the health status of an individual. The engagement in the game should not just be for mere individual satisfaction and motivation. The reason for this is that players of tennis or any other game should mostly be motivated by the expectation of future benefits resulting from the game. Work interviewer: I have understood all that you have mentioned. Ideally, it is now evident to me that the value of a man in the society is determined by what the person gives the society in the terms of economic development. In this regard, everyone should work and contribute to the growth of the entire society basing on numerous diversities. A person’s rationality in the society should be influenced by the ability to work and achieve the desired goals aimed at benefiting the entire community. Play Interviewer: it is candidly expressed that through the contributions of players be it economical or socially valued, the worth of playing is expressed in the societal attitude towards players. They contribute to societal image on good will and worth. All that you have said is true and players directly contribute to societal development. the exercising of such developmental aspects in the society may also help to upgrade one’s health and living standards and here too the players are not left out. Consequently, the anticipated benefit should not be the principal reason for which one partake an action. Viewed from a natural point of view, one should be able to discern sense that ascribes to the functional advantages of physical exercise: however, these advantages should not be the agent's primary motivation, but rather the medium through which the entire society thrives (Lee, 2012. P. 454). Bibliography GAYDOS, M, & SQUIRE, K. (2012), 'Role Playing Games for Scientific Citizenship', Cultural Studies Of Science Education, 7, 4, pp. 821-844, LEE, P. M. (2012).
