Samsung’s Galaxy versus Apple’s IPhoneSamsung’s galaxy and Apple’s iPhone are two Smartphones with advanced features and high-end components preferred by many users. Both devices are competing for the same market although their operating systems are quite different. Between the two devices, the Samsung's Galaxy is the most preferable because of its unique features. Th Galaxy from Samsung has more models than the iPhone, therefore, gives users a variety of choices to make when buying.

Some of the models of Samsung are Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S Cellular, Metro PCS, Cricket, Boost Mobile, and Virgin Mobile. The models for iphone are Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, U.S Cellular, and T-Mobile thus galaxy has a wide variety of models for selection (Phone Arena, 2015). For instance, the user rating for Samsung Galaxy S5 is 9.5, which shows that it is preferable compared to the Apple's iPhone S5, which has a user’s rating of 8.7. Samsung galaxy is lighter than the iPhone, which has an aluminium body.

In addition to the lighter materials for the main body of the galaxy, the materials are also water and dust resistant and the phone is IP certified. The physical sizes of the two phones are also different with the galaxy having a large size compared to the iPhone. A big phone with a large screen is more attractive compared to a small one for people who want to buy sleek devices. The galaxy is, therefore, the best with a physical size of 5.1 inches, a screen resolution of 2560 by 1440 and applies AMOLED technology (Phone Arena, 2015).

The iPhone has a physical size of 4.1 inches, screen resolution of 1334 by 750 and uses IPS LCD technology. Some other features such as the camera for the two smartphones are also different such as the camera, with the galaxy’s camera being 16 megapixels and that of iPhone being 8 megapixels (Phone Arena, 2015). Samsung has improved its camera to enable it shoots better photos in low light. The galaxy has smile detection and voice activation in addition to other shared features such as face detection, self-timer, and digital zoom.

The galaxy has more shooting modes than the iPhone making it more preferable especially for the young generation that loves partying at night. The battery ratings for the two smartphones are also different with the galaxy having a high rating for the battery than the iPhone. During standby, galaxy battery can take 390 hours while the iPhone battery only remains for 250 hours (Phone Arena, 2015). Users prefer a phone with long battery life to allow them do operate it for longer periods before changing.

Galaxy has more special features than iphone such as the heart rate monitor and wireless charging which are quite convenient to the users. Both phones are good and sleek in their many features but Samsung galaxy succeeds the iPhone because of its unique and excellent features. Samsung galaxy is the best Android phone that one can get in the market because of its varity of features. Samsung’s Galaxy especially S6 has a better design as it is more durable and attractive with a gorgeous screen.
