It will enable the end user to be more creative and experimental and explore possibilities that were previously tedious or impossible. The design possibilities of virtuality will enhance the outlook of environments.
Now we can also term it according to the duration it can last .For any new thing the duration is 10-30 years. If it lasts for 10 it would be popular as a tool another 10 and it would very well be a theory and if it survives all 30 years it will soon be defined as a revolution.
It was the end of the 20th century and the beginning of 21st century that saw the emergence of Digital architecture. It was basically the progress of computer aided software and technologies that aided the drastic makeover. The computer applications transformed the design methodology; this is especially true for the "virtual reality", CAD/CAM technologies and internet.
Digital architecture today is how drafting was invented by the Greek or how modelling came into being in the period of renaissance. We can also consider it as a theory as still it is in the development stages and is being experimented and explored with.
What it does is that it simply assists the design thinking process of humans through processes like internet aided designs and web based designs. And if this progresses to alter the design methodology in future along with the thinking patterns then we might be witnessing something that will be more than just a theory..

To assess the possibilities of digital architecture to the fullest FEIDAD Award (Far East International Digital Architectural Design Award) was launched in 2000.The major aim of it was to capture projects using digital concepts like electronic media, information, computing, cyberspace and virtual to define and elaborate on future spaces and architecture in digital age.

The study and utilization of new techniques would allow the most creative minds to come together anywhere in the world to construct and imagine collectively richer, dynamic and digitally enabled collaborative work environments. The digital designing will provide precise and accurate details which will have a level of very high sophistication to it.

Process Architectural Design
...Process Architectural Design The fire and security monitoring system is meant to manage, and to monitor the fire security alarms in a building. In order to best understand how this system works, it is only prudent to define its design both in terms of the software and the hardware components that it is made up of; we have to know how the systems components relate to each other and functions of every component involved in the working of the whole system that is controlled from the central point of security monitoring (Robinson 2009). This document covers the definition of the fire monitoring system as well as the fire security equipment. The software described by the software requirements...

...? ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN My destination tour for my summer holiday was at Dubai, which has been a great target for tourist attraction. I had earlier visited Dubai but it was during a short notice. These large architectural designs had made me love the area. Dubai has been greatly influenced by the oil industry that has made it one of the best in world. Politicians and other celebrity have visited the area. During my visit in Dubai made me discover one of the best architectural designs. The words ‘first, tallest, deepest, most expensive, lavish, outlandish’ could have been created for this city. I visited the best seven-star...

An entity relationship diagram (ERD) and an automated insulin delivery system are largely similar in representation; however, they are different in how they operate (Davis, 2011). On the one hand, an entity relationship diagram is a graphical demonstration of data sources and their linkages to each other. The ERD is normally used in information systems to enter data in a methodical manner and organize the data is systematically on the databases. On the other hand, an automated insulin delivery system triggers a number of moves that eventually lead to the control of blood...

Contemporary Architectural Design and Property Development
...The Role of 'Vastu Science' and 'Feng Shui' in Contemporary Architectural Design and Property Development 2007 Contemporary architecture inherits and reflects old traditions and cultural values followed by Asian societies. Vastu and Feng-Shui influence construction and design of modern buildings and landscapes. The result is a perfect interpenetration of building with environment, in which the artificial is integrated with the natural, hard wood and metal with liquid and air and light, geometric rational plan with teasing unpredictability of natural forms, reality with shadows and reflections, the seemingly eternal with the fleeting and constantly changing. Eastern...

Architectural Design
...House II by Peter Eisenman Peter Eisenman's scheme for architectural design on theory is drawn from outside existing architectural dogma, most notably from philosophy and linguistics. Eisenman has been grouped with the proponents of a postmodernist sensibility and symptomatic of this literary movement, his designs and buildings have been considered as texts, and labelled as deconstructivist, although he himself shuns the label. The strategies of deconstruction destructuralism, or post structuralism, promote the decay or fragmentation of existing symbolism and structure in architecture but again by itself it does not promise no ultimate replacement,...

Modern Architectural World
...Since we live in the modern world, and have been exposed to many recent architectural developments made, then I cannot help but to be more engrossed to the beauty of the contemporary architectural designs. For one, I have observed that most buildings or even houses that we see nowadays have incorporated in their designs various elements and styles that are more advantageous both to men and to nature. To cite an example, the development of green architecture is indeed a sure answer to the call of times which is environmental preservation and protection. If I am to summarize contemporary architectural...

Fabrication in architectural design process
...…………………………………………………..……………………..…..13 References……………………………………………………..………………………..14 Introduction. In the contemporary architectural practice, plan drawing and flat sections are no longer a significant means of communication and representation with clients. Today, the widely media used in architecture include animation, visualization and three-dimensional models. The available digital fabrication techniques make it be possible for direct materialization of virtual designs in building structures, as well as in small scale models (Laseau, P, 1980). This transition that is always executed after the completion of the design process is possible with the help of CAM or CAD...
