The League of Nations was founded in 1919. By that time practically all American citizens were recent immigrants. They were against any participation in The Treaty of Versailles. Moreover, there were huge worries about the cost of joining, which should’ve happened right after WW1. Another notable fact, the majority of Americans had anti-British or anti-French decisiveness.
